The most significant thing other than that was they landed 6,000 troops in Newport, Rhode Island. веи х how we have one of the most if not the most racially and religiously integrated cultures, we have the best economy, freedom of speech, the right to vote, freedom of the press, right the bare arms, right to fair trial, we elect representatives, the 13th amendment ,the 14th amendment the 19th amendment, the entire constitution and bill of rights, the grand fucking canyon, the Rocky Mountains, the Appalachian mountains, the northern lights, American music culture (new and old), basic idea of western civilization, thousands of businesses, musicians, actors, movies and producers that are American, beautiful cities like New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, the Great Lakes, basic morals that some several countries do not have, the ‘American Dream’, Niagara Falls, advanced medical care, Presidents/Governors/Senators/Representatives/Councilmen, strong military, we helped Europe win ww1 and ww2, intervening in Caribbean countries to help them gain freedoms and pay off debts

We also far surpass the world when you look at the time spent waiting for surgery, and our cancer survival rates put other countries to shame. Doesn’t mean our healthcare shouldn’t be made cheaper in some way, but our quality far surpasses the rest of the world, especially for the difference in price
