I started after age 40, and will continue until I can’t. I just enjoy it. I got all my stuff from last year tanned at Moyle’s, and I’ve already made a single cat pillbox hat. I’m looking forward to pillows and whatever else I can come up with! I’ve learned more about sewing than I ever thought I would.
I've been fishing, hunting, camping my whole life. I just bought my first piece of land and I want to start trapping. It's in northern Minnesota right outside superior national forest, hopefully a good spot. I don't care about the money I just want to learn how and pass it on to my kids.
Good show buddy. I'm with ya as well goin to go trapping like I always do and what I'm most excited about this season is I have a 6yr old niece that officially will be her first year trapping with me on the weekends and holidays when she's not in school gonna be a blast she's got her very own dogproofs trap that she's painted her favorite colors pink, blue, and purple lol and we put together her own trapline bucket to carry her baits and lures in. It's all about the fun and memories that are made I really dont think about the Fur market stuff anymore and I actually emptied out the freezer of a few raccoon, coyotes, 3 red fox and 3 bobcats and 3 badgers that I'm sending to Gronewalds this and take what they give, just had to make room in the freezer. Will you be goin to Texas again this year? Iv rambled on enough lol but to everyone in the comments I can personally vouch for the quality of that short liners Trappin bag it's a great tuff bag, broke mine in last season and it is a top three toughest Trappin Bag out there. Peace.
