My diverter kit is supposed to be here today (fingers crossed) but I probably won't start the installation until next week. Great detail on the process for electrical. I'm thinking mine will be a little easier as I've got a 3038E and the joystick is on the loader so less distance and no floorboard for routing the wiring but I'll probably steal you idea for the add-a-fuse.

Thanks Dash , Putting a Summit Diverter on this weekend. Going to try running the wires without taking this apart first...after wasting an hour doing that...I'll take things apart...lol I would add I would either get those wires into the plastic loom that is there or add one...You can get them cheap off of Amazon cheap and use them for everything.

Despite how great that their products and customer service is - Artillian did a less than adequate (terrible) job at explaining hooking up their Diverter electric for the 1025R/120R Loader. TTWT did a great job explaining hooking up the Artillian Diverter hydraulics - But the portion on hooking up the electric wasn’t his normal “excellent”. You NAILED IT! Simple. Detailed. Great video shots - Explaining each step. FINALLY... A process I could follow to get it done and working. THANK YOU!

Thanks for the appreciation! It is always great to hear that these videos are helping others just like they helped me when I was looking for information. I couldn't agree more that the electrical component was very vague in the directions. Have a great day and happy grappling!

Great job. You helped me quite a bit for the electrical potions of my diverter. I recently purchased the AV20F grapple and this is a must. The hydrologic plow is next. Thank you for these videos

My 2016 made 1025r is configured like yours, except still have hood release lever in front and bolt on side panels. Must have been a period of transmission into the 2018 model. A mama rat nested, ate through the steering wheel boot, have been somewhat concerned about how to disassemble to really clean the area. I got her before she ate wires and damaged anything that impacted using the machine.

Taking the floorboard etc. off looks a lot like the process used to disable the pto cut-off when you go in reverse.

I have yet to do that and should have done it when I had the darn floorboards off. I've now wore off the little gear symbol on the switch from having to push it so many times going in reverse!

The two grease zerks you pointed out are the possible ones to get to from below. I would like to know if the front zerk on the top shaft is any easier to get to from the top with the floorboard removed?

Great point J Kuen, you can also access these grease zerks from underneath quite easy. I should have mentioned the front mainshaft zerk in the video. With the 2017 and newer models, the lower panel beneath the steering wheel is no longer removable like the previous generation. If you remove the floorboard, the front u joint is still not accessible from this angle. There simply isn’t enough room from my experience. The best way (hardly the best) is to use the small access hole from under the tractor. I’ve heard of owners drilling out the hole to make it larger in order the compensate for the angle of the grease zerk. Some forums say that John Deere will do this for free under warranty as some holes are manufactured misaligned. Might be worth looking into. I’ve been able to grease mine using the original access hole, but it’s never easy. I have a standard tip on my grease gun, but others have tried using a needle tip, though I’ve heard those can be difficult also. Great question, thanks for bringing this up.

Hello, I just came across your video and decided to watch it. Nice stuff, I have had the floor boards off before but decided to watch and see what you had going on with the diverter. One thing that you had mentioned was advising others on filming and editing a video and uploading it to RU-vid. As I have never done this before and have always been interested, so I figured that I should take you up on your offer for whatever advice/editing/information in regards to making/editing uploading a video to RU-vid you might have. Please let me know how you would like to go about communicating with me on this subject. Also, I cannot expect you to go through the process of hard knocks while learning and then advising others without some sort of compensation. We can discuss this further in the event that you are still interested in advising me. Great video, great content 👍
