Thank you so much for creating this wonderful discussion and thanks so much to Ray Briggs for joining and sharing so many illuminating and helpful ideas :D This video was really helpful for me making sense of my experiences as a transfeminine person, making sense of gender, and making sense of other somewhat similar polysemous terms like youthfulness. As far as I understand youthfulness has categories, feels, and norms a lot like gender. For example we have subjective categories like young and old that have their own related feels and norms that I want to explore and understand and maybe improve on. This was also really helpful because I want to investigate applied ethical questions relating to queerness, gender, and transness, and I really needed to have some theory and terminology to know where to begin. I'm confident Ray Briggs' book with B. R. George will play an influential role on my thoughts and maybe even my work if I end up producing any.
