i was one of the fortunate boys at the age 9 or ten to have attended the great TSB's as he was fondly referred by all , Ramayanam, Mahabaratham discourses twice at Siva Vishnu Temple, T. Nagar and Eswaran Kovil near Sankara Matam, West Mambalam in the years 1955-56. My sisters, brother and self had developed our knowledge and interest in Carnatic music from attending his discourses blended with music along with his brother shri Valleesan who was given a very brief time by develop any raga in between. We used to think why he was not allowed more time to his brother dwell on the raga a little more. His singing very much resembled that of the great legend G N B style. Yet another greatness of TSB sir was narrating any situation in Mahabaratham or Ramayanam, where we actually felt we were actually present in those scenes.
