My vision is a head coach with honor and integrity. Not one who doesn't punish a star player for screaming an obscenity and slur on an open mic at an opposing player (Paterno would've benched if not kicked him off the team). Not one who focuses on getting media attention for himself. Not one who every year schedules creampuffs early to get an undeserved high ranking, only to lose late in the season to the only two good teams they play and finish in the Outback or Independence Bowl while blaming players and assistant coaches for it. Have you ever heard Franklin really take responsibility for anything that wasn't good? And definitely not a cocach who did what Franklin did when he was HC at Vandy and players assaulted a girl. Lifelong Penn State fan but I was rooting for Bowling Green last week.
@@Hi-ko9dv Why? Because Paterno fired Sandusky years before and banned him from the facilities, but the left-wing pedo supporting University President (and friend of Hillary Clinton) gave Sandusky free reign over Paterno's objections? Or because Paterno reported Sandusky's suspicious conduct to University police (who are real police in PA) but the University president ordered the investigation stopped? Or because Paterno was told the investigation had found no wrongdoing? Or because the University president didn't like Paterno's conservative views and approach, and his age, and wanted an excuse to force him out so he made him the scapegoat? All of this came out years later, but people like you only remember ESPN's nonsense reporting. In fact, that University president had supported all kinds of pedo type activities. Penn State administration was super woke before woke was even a term.
