More like 10 minutes mate. It literally takes like 5 minutes to get to Clank. Combine that with the cutscenes and you probably get around 10 minutes. On the PS4 version it's probably somewhere around 20-30 minutes

They need to put not only the original trilogy for PS4 and the future trilogy. Not only is ratchet and clank one of the highest selling series of PlayStation, and kickstarted Sonys amazing video game success, but then fans will love it and buy them again as well as the new generation of consoles come in

I love those games so much! i have my ps3 still to play it. i dont think i ever will get a ps4, or now ps5 due to the only reason of wanting it is for ratchet, jak, and sly. which now is only one game for either new console. sigh, maybe ill wait to get one second hand

Slight clarification to the "Ratchet & Clank uses the Jak & Daxter engine" fact, which isn't as you stated. The R&C engine was made by Insomniac, but it does make use of several renderers that were made by Naughty Dog, which allowed them to create the huge vistas in the game. Clearly not the same thing, and Ted Price gave a quote about it: "We've always developed all our own technology. It's been a little frustrating in the past for us to hear people say, 'Oh yeah, the Insomniac game is running on the Naughty Dog engine.' People assumed that we were using Naughty Dog's engine for Ratchet, and that was not true. We shared some technology with Naughty Dog way back when, and that was great, but we are a company that puts stock in developing specialized technology and we will continue to do so."

Fun Fact: In Ratchet And Clank (PS4) when upgrading your weapon trees with raratanium, look closely at certain trees. The R.Y.N.O's is shaped like a skull and crossbones (seeing that it reigns death as the most OP weapon) and the Combuster has one shaped like a stereotypical ray gun shape. It's a cute little visual Easter Egg that I had noticed when snagging the applicable trophy and I don't know if any Easter Egg hunting channels on YT ever picked it up.

Hi I'm ten and I'm a huge fan of Ratchet and Clank! Back in 2012, I got the HD collection for my 6th birthday. I started it that same night. Even today, after playing each of the three games multiple times, I still go back and replay the first game.

This game will always have a special place in my heart... this was the one that brought me into video gaming back when I was but a wee lad. I am kind of sad to see what they are doing with it now, however. The new game was fun but the story doesn't have the same appeal that the original games had to me. I honestly would have loved for them to continue the Lombax story since it was interesting as hell and spawned some of the best games in the series.

#108 The Ratchet & Clank Future games had "future" dropped from their titles in PAL regions, so the full titles were Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction, Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty, and Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time. #109 In the Ratchet & Clank movie, during the battle at the start of the movie, one of Drek's robots falls off a bridge. As he does so, he shouts the Wilhelm Scream, an infamous stock audio file that has appeared in everything from Star Wars to Indiana Jones to Toy Story. This reference is further emphasised by another robot exclaiming "Wilhelm!" after him. #110 Orvus from A Crack In Time is voiced by Charles Martinet, who is best known as the voices of Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi and Toadsworth from the Super Mario series.

Ratchet and Clank 2002 did not use the Naughty Dog Engine. Insomniac Games was offered rendering techniques from the ND enging and they offered back some of their techniques, but ultimately they built their own engine.

108: Ratchet is not his real name, it was supposed to be revealed in ACIT, but they left it out 109: a lot of Space Ships had been heavily inspired by the Star Wars X-Wing. In fact, their wings are positioned like Xes

Played every games except for the Vita, it's my favorite franchise with Spyro! Hope there will be more R&C. By the way the French translation for RYNO is TELT (T'Éclater La Tronche) which, once translated, means "Beat your damn face". The original version RYNO is a little bit funnier 😂

Man after playing the ratchet and clank remake on ps4, I was left angry and upset that they didn’t tap back into the original games innuendoes and actually funny humour... instead it was endless dry humour followed with 30fps gaming, while the original ran 60fps lol... all the glossy graphics in the world don’t make a game good without having a good story to back it up... this latest ratchet and clank just made me want to go back to the roots of the game and get stuck into the badass attitude ratchet used to have and clanks brainy comments... sorry for the rant, I could go on but yes I hope they remaster the original trilogy and others with it but I doubt it as well!!!

I’m surprised you didn’t mention “trivia” fun facts such as “Ratchet” not really being his name. Apparently, Insomniac intended to reveal that in A Crack in Time but decided against it because they felt Ratchet was fitting to his character. Or that there’s no “J” in the lombax key.
