Sterling 3 lever deadlock picked and then opened using lever jigglers and as a bonus I jiggle open an ERA 5 lever BS deadlock with false gates. Thanks for watching Cheers 👍🍻
The first time I tried it, off camera, the fortress opened like I was using the proper key.. I wasn't expecting it to work on a lock with false gates.. I tried them on a union 5 lever and got nowhere.. just the luck of the bitting and lever spacing, I guess 🤷 Cheers Andy 👍 🍻
Thanks 😁. I was given them before I had started on my lever lock journey. Just decided to give them a try, when they opened the ERA Fortress I thought I'd make a video.. As Deadlocks said there was probably a lot of luck involved.. that the bitting and spacing were close enough was maybe a bit of a fluke . Thanks for watching Cheers bud 👍 🍻
Thank you 😁 I'm not sure they should have worked on the 5 lever ERA fortress.. I think that was a fluke of the bitting and spacing, but you never know unless you try. Cheers bud 👍 🍻
Thank you 😁 It was Something a bit different.. I've had those jigglers for a while and never actually tried using them before last night. Cheers bud 👍 🍻
The first set you used are 2 lever tryout keys & the second set is the 3 lever tryout keys, The 5 lever tryout keys have about 70 ish in the set, The 3 lever set has 15 keys but you can get an extra 4 to make it 19.
Thank you for the info 🙏 They were given to me, for free, by a council handyman.. he said he'd never had much success with them. I thought the small set was for 3 lever locks, I haven't seen a 2 lever lock yet, other than the cabinet/drawer and padlocks. The 3 lever ones are a set of 19... 70 differs in the 5 lever set! That's a good 2 hours to give each one of those a try in a door! Cheers bud 😁👍🍻
@@Myloks yer welcome, You have the full set then if yours has 19, The souber set usually have 15 in the set , I have spotted the 4 add on keys for sale, apparently they are an upgrade to be able to open some union locks, I have four or five 2 lever locks ,some people call them warded lever locks, they have a a funny shaped keyway but the tryout keys are thin enough to pass through them.
I'm kinda shocked that the try out keys worked on that ERA, I was fairly shure they would only work on 2 or 3 levers. Very nicely done. Makeing me want some try out keys🤔
I was too.. the first off camera try on the ERA it just opened like I was using the key 😆 I've also got a 5 lever union mortice with no false gates but I've not had any luck opening that with the jigglers.. I guess it's just down to the individual locks and bitting. Cheers Deadlocks 👍 🍻
Thank you 😁 I was given these by a customer that comes into the hardware store, he knew I was a bit of a locknut and just gave them to me. I was a bit surprised they worked on the kite-marked 5 lever with false gates. I'm not sure if Andy sells them but they are readily available on the UK Amazon listed as try out keys Cheers Chris👍🍻
I'm not sure.. I've only seen these two sets before (a 3 lever and 5 lever set).. the same sets are available on Amazon as try out keys.. I don't know if they'd work on padlocks though. I was very surprised they worked on the kire-marked ERA 5 lever with false gates. I was given these by a customer that comes into the hardware store, he knew I was a bit of a locknut and just gave them to me. Cheers bud 👍🍻
