Good question. I had to use different motors and that triggered a chain reaction. I had to find a ESC + Motor combination taking into account that the ESC had to be small enough to fit in the frame. When I had that I realized that the screws that came with the motor were too long for the frame and the ESC cables need to go the other way around (black inside the frame) for the motors to spin in the right direction. Then the cables of the ESC were too thick for the frame, so I had to cut it in half... I just soldered the ESC and hope not find any other issues.
in the wiring diagram you have attached the 4 ESC's each to seperate PWM pin instead of one single PPM pin (which was the case in previous videos) can you pls explain the reason or am i understanding it wrong , cant a single PPM pin be used to power all the ESC's do we need a seperate PPM pin connected for each ESC .
I might be misunderstanding your question, but he still only has one cable coming from the ppm connected to the receiver, and 4 coming from the PWM on the teensy. In the last video he only had one ppm and one pwm because he was only controlling one motor. There is no PPM coming from the teensy, and you would need 4 PWM to control the motors separately.
