Yup, bought a 9billion Polearm and missed my 2nd temper. Trash it is sadly.

Next time prepare 3 or 4 crap items, temper on the crap ones first until your desired affix comes up, then temper ONCE on your good item, if you did not get it temper on the crap ones again until you do and then go back to your good item. RInse and repeat until you get it. It's not 100% guaranteed but this strategy significantly decreased my brick rate.

This season I played necro X2, Barb X2, and rogue. I ran tests on different slots on different classes after I kept getting the same stat over and over and is weighted on certain slots 100%. They should just let you pick the temper and increase the range variations slightly but keep the temper limit. That way no more bricking and the item hunt would continue if you didnt get a perfect temper. While I like the idea of masterwork and temper, some of blizzards ideas in how to implement mechanics are straight up dumb. I can't believe this was the best idea in a room of people who play and program games for a living. It is absurd. I stopped about 3 weeks ago. Way too much rng and weigted bs

If something rolls multiple times in a row I do one temper from another thing then go back to what I want and usually it fixes the problem, still bricked a ton of shit but not a 10 b item 😂

It's not even worth going for items above 1b gold. Even if you roll what you want you might get a low roll which neglects what you'd gain from the GA's smh

They should just make one affix per manual, this is stupid to choose from 3-5 randomly. Just why? Is this Blacksmith blind or dumb? He does not know what the end product he produces? Make it one affix so you are sure what you get, but with 0 free rerolls, then attach some resource to next rerolls which you need to grind or trade for. So if you need a max roll you need to work for it or get lucky. Simple as that. This game is designed by a team who never played ARPG

:) pyromancy attackspeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! had not much 3star stuff drops in whole season but every i found was ruined by tempering fail too. but i stioll play and stop thinking about all the not testing by self of programmers.u play 5min pit 100 and can quit season. why because u only found orange material not golden and blue too. it meant, they force us to cicle play lvl 30 pit over and over. complete new, it is ok but after medium euip it is boring how hell. best joke 2 is 12 hearth u havbe to find 12 !!!!to kill 1 time üduriel. whaat?and same low drop shako rate is maken me angry, because u have to play easymode dungeons to find em and the tree of whisper is another failbot too the chance to get hearth should be standart not rare.u cant change bones,hands,head into hearths,this another gamebreaking mechanicphail. it is easy to find nothing special hard to fix problems since season 1. they cant find it and if they read in forum i wounder why no reactions nothing is following but every campfiretrashtalk they saying that they know about and want fix it. u have to belive and go forwards it is luck all is luck. my tip is make other class too not mega strong only to example pit 60 rdy and play funbuilds at farming boring materials. ak47 druide is not bad :) to get what u need is not what u get ;)
