Wow you had so much to say for each track!! I am so glad you liked it so much!! I was so worried because these songs are so old I felt no one would enjoy them as much as I did. But it makes me so happy to see so many of you guys enjoying it!!
Your music is really underappreciated and underrated. Every time you release new music I'm at the edge of my seat because I can't wait to hear what magic you've created this time.
You've never been to a convention before? I was lucky enough to have con right in my proverbial backyard; seeing other people as obsessed and degenerate as oneself is a rare treat, and not one to be taken lightly.
Praise and Critiques: *WARNING: Will be long* _TheGala_ is rather chill for what it's based on, which isn't a bad thing. It's syncopation keeps you entertained while the vocal chops create their own melodic lines that stand out. I can see the reason for its invisibility these years as it's not as...full as one might expect. The drop doesn't hit with enough force. Still, a great song. 6.9/10. _Remember Why_ begins differently than many others, the piano sound adding a certain ambiance throughout the piece. It could benefit from some more rhythmic complexity and perhaps a new melodic section but it can definitely go somewhere if the concept can be mastered. 6.8/10 _The Letter_ transitioned excellently from the last one, building the hype for this one. I wonder if _Remember Why_ could be adapted as a prelude for this one. The song itself has a good drive with a unique style of vocal chops. The piano makes a return appearance after leaving last song to close out this one and lead to the next. 7.0/10 _The Last Stand_ has a nice pressure to it, the piano complementing the strings and the electronic sound well. A collab with Jyc Row could enhance the epic orchestral backing for some real power combined with the really great melodic lines you have going on throughout. I'm telling you, this has a lot of potential as a future song and has captivated me already. 8.3/10 _Final Evolution_ has my attentiom with the tonal bells that sound at the start. Imagine changing the flow just a bit to sound progressional at the start, fluctuating with those electronic rivits of sound, and rising to with small drops before the large one where the sound turns fully electronic and really addicting to listen to. At its current point though, still pretty good. 7.5/10 _Lights On The Other Side_, which I'm assuming was to be the song for a particular album has a brilliant beginning and throws you into its first chorus with great energy. Almost wondering if the beat setting the path would have worked more to drive the song if a cow bell had been added in homophony with it. The bass also needs more power with it to really make its theme shine. Really fun and peppy nonetheless. 7.8/10 _Trust Me_ comes from the same album as the last and shows that it is reminicent of that last track too. The electronic drum turned into a real one at the start could add the edge this song needs as it seems just a bit too mellow. Sonewhat lacking that conviction the vocals were looking for. The vocals are a bit off though so I understand the hesitation on this song. Actually, the song might have flourished if a part of that song lost the staccatos on the main line. 6.9/10. _The Pathway_ again hails from the LotOS album which I just realized could have been the LOST album to add that extra layer of theme to it. Again, a cowbell on the driving beat could have impacted the song greatly. The song is still great though as I listen to it on my way to work. Has some nice dimension too it. Could be taken in any way if improved. 7.1/10. _It's Coming_ is next on the track list and definitely needs some more power and backing to its lines. It's a bit empty for what the title suggests but the stellar main line that has that 16 bit tuning to it is great. With it being a Chrysalis song, the creepy intention is there but needs some more magnification before it can truly shine. Most interesting is the rising sound which sounds breathy, really adding to the emotion. Would love to see that particular concept/idea applied to more rises. Loving it though and would love to see it developed into a release. 7.4/10 _Old Friends_ changes the groove with its impactful entry. The touch of darkness in the bass line drives this intrguing song that truly deserves more layers to fully comprehend its beauty. One of your better songs indeed. 8.2/10. Well, those were great! Can see why some didn't end up on youtube but some have great potential either in becoming future songs or by applying the concepts used in them into other songs. Congrats on 10k and have a great day!
