Congrats!!! One of my hunting partners has purchased the same outfit that you are using. In my opinion, dollar per dollar, Barnett has got some pretty serious shit to offer. Tons of power..accurate and their triggertech system does not fall shy compared to higher priced competitors. Thanks for the hunt! Great buck btw 👍👍👍
Two weeks ago I shot a big bodied buck with a goofy rack. He went 100+ onto the neighbors property and they wouldn't give me the go ahead to retrieve him. Don't know if they picked him up or not.
@@justinbandy2610you should always try your best to be extra friendly to the neighbours you never know when you’ll need a hand or a run onto there property 😂
Nice kill. Screw the naysayers and trolls. At least you didn't have to track it for hours, hope you beat the coyotes to it, and waste a deer for nothing. Looks like a good shot to me. Freezer packed and wall racked!! I call that success!
Nice shot between those trees. Spine shots are not ideal but it happens and puts them down. I have had it happen and got another arrow in the deer to finish him. I have a raptor pro and like pretty good. Little heavy compared to my older raptor but the speed and power is worth it. Congratulations!
If a deer ever runs to a neighbor and dies the neighbor won't let you on their property to retrieve the animal call the game warden he will escort you onto their property to claim your kill
WHAT AN AMAZING SHOT!!! HE JUST DROPPED...... WOW. I'm going to get my first cross bow for 22/23 season what would you recommend I get. I've had 3 surgeries on my right shoulder and bicep, but have been ambidextrous most my of my life. I shoot long guns and pistols left handed, I shoot pool lefty too so I was just throwing that out there. I will be hunting in north west Pennsylvania if that makes any difference??? Any information would be greatly appreciated. T.y.
Extra skill with a cross bow you say? Now thats a load of Sh!t if I ever heard one. A newbie can take a cross bow out first time & be shooting bullseyes in an hour. I have a CB hanging on the wall for 12 years, I don't use it, should be outlawed except for the older folk like me, but I don't. I have taken lots of whitetails with a compound. You get busted on the draw so many times with a wheel bow compared to a CB. It takes no skill what so eveR!
Here ya go...m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=4853016564732811&id=100000735466000 There was nothing more to show that needed to be seen on my GoPro after the shot. He was paralyzed but not dead, I climbed down with my climber and walked close for a definitive kill shot.
what was that 30 yards? thoracic plexus shots make them drop like that (so I've seen on youtu.be) buck didn't bleed out right there' you had to cut him to drain his blood? blood pudding\sausage from deer blood? might be better than pig blood
They must have made the Barnett Crossbows a little better because they used to be junk I killed all my bucks with a Horton LS now I have the Horton Super Mag only get $40 for it love it
@@kevinb6349 what do you mean it's not a bow! It's got limbs ,cams ,string ! It's called crossBOW!!! When you get old or have some health issues are you just gonna rifle hunt!!?
Bows dont have rifle stocks that you shoulder like a gun to aim... let alone a scope on it. Bows are not pre cocked... eliminating having to get drawn and hold it back as you aim. Its not a bow and you know it. Will i use one when older.... probably..im 50 now. But i wont call it a bow ever cuz its not. Its more a gun than a bow. Ill call it what it is. . A CROSSbow. Something very different than a bow.
@@kevinb6349 your right about it being a crossbow. Some people that aren't Karen's just call them bow's for short. I guess if it bothers you that much that you feel the need to correct someone because they don't put the CROSS word in front of the word bow then go ahead! But I will say this, there definitely closer to a bow than a gun! There is no gun powder in a crossbow bolt. There is no barrel, they don't have a firing pin, they don't need a explosion to shoot, there is no expanding gas to make them shoot. They are not loud like a gun. They do not shoot as far or as accurate as a gun. A person has to get alot closer to the animal than you do with a gun. Crossbows shoot from energy created by bows, cams and a string. Just like a bow!!
He probably shot high and spined him that's why I dropped in his tracks, and if you do are running 300 yd you need to practice practice practice I've been using rage broadheads for about 10 years or so now and I haven't had a deer leave my eyesight usually they're dropping 20/30 yards I did have one run 60 one time
No, you wouldn't, considering I put a link to photos in the description. Also, you may want to consider glasses if you couldn't tell it was a deer 🤦♂️😂
@ronaldcarroll4995 you reading the description to see i posted a link BEFORE you commented like an idiot would make you not suck... but here we are 🤷♂️😂😂

@@markj363 first of all I am not your buddy, let’s get that straight, the video sucked bottom line , I came across it 347 views in 2 years ! Video suck ! What part didn’t you get and your offended from the truth !
@@TimL-bk3cx Timmy. When there is a "K" after the number, Like 347K. The "K" means Thousand. You should have learned that in maybe 4th or 5th grade. So Timmy, this video has 347,000 views in 2 years. Just a couple more than 347 views. I'm not offended by you, just your stupidity. You've been served.
@@zzz7zzz9 I'm not your fellow anything. This is not a brotherhood. When you take a weapon, shoulder it, hold the front stock like a rifle, look through a scope, and squeeze a trigger and shoot 400 ft/sec to 100yds, then guess what....you just fired an open barrel short-range rifle, not a bow. Crossbows are not archery, and have no place within the archery season for healthy able-bodied hunters. If that's elitist, then I'm glad to be elitist.
