I haven't measured, but according to calculations, it will draw 0.83 Amps. Use this website if you are interested in other Values: goo.gl/iKptyn Just enter 2 values (Voltage and Power in this case) to calculate Current and Resistance. It would require 8.3 Amps to run it, but you always want stronger power supply than it requires, 9 amps would be perfect probably. Heat sink is necessary. I hope this was helpful.

Your Resistor will overheat

Why do you need mine resistance number? i think it was 100 Ohms or 1k ohms, if you give me a proper reason why you need resistance i might even help you
