10% nerf to lightning bolt and chain lightning, 15% nerf to tempest. about 8% overall nerf. spec is completely fine it was overtuned before will still be very good flowing spirits is fixed i will test it another day
Will be felt for sure... Kinda stinks. Enhance was popping off with crazy gear. But for the average item level guy enhance is mediocre at best. Now they will struggle for sure. At least it's abit easier to play now.. still don't get how frost, ret, assass is nerfless.

About time man! Haha! Thanks for making such amazing guides man! Just came back to retail from slumbering since wotlk though I played enh in classic tbc and 2 phases of classic wotlk. Still stuck on the lava lash talent as there are so many complex factors to consider in the enhance tree (and orhers I guess, I only have one char). Love the playstyle atm, doing decent damage even at 587 ilvl, but this will surely push it a bit further! Looking forward to more updates from you man! Have a good one!

the info about using healing surge in the prepull was great, i knew to pop asc and wolves to start with 10 stacks of maelstrom and wondered why it always feels like im still ramping when the other dps and already popping off

Thank you blaster! Love your enhance guides and stream. One thing I notice is that tempest will proc during ascendance but when incast windstrike to get to 10 maelstrom the tempest buff goes away. Am i seeing things or playing that part wrong?
When you windstrike, you also cast a lighting bolt or chain lighting (based on the most recent one you cast). So when you get the tempest proc and lightingbolt/tempest was the last one you spent, than the windstrike will consume the proc and send the tempest

Great guide. You're section on priming Thorim's. I'm not sure I understand how it auto primes with hitting two targets with primordial wave. Do you mean the spender from primordial (LB/tempest/CL)?
I play totemic with storm+improved sundering, got nice dmg and wery easy to play, lots of resets thanks to SS xD WF dmg from sundering and overlaping is higher than presing LL and IS.

So in Ascendance Tempest isnt autocast anymore in AOE situations right? Before 11.0.5 it was way better I dont the same as u do but on dummies and i only get up to like 4,5mio dps. I struggle alot with the no more autocast of tempest and i got a friend who plays enh aswell and he says he just spams windstrike and tempest is getting autocasted and he hits like 8-9mio dps. Is there a way to get it back to autocast?
Why would you not want to play around Arc Discharge? In the scenario where you get back 2 back Tempest proccs in AoE, I rather CL after first tempest (with 8-10 maelstrom) and then next cast is tempest with 10 maelstrom, into another arc discharged 8-10 CL. Pre patch I would just send back 2 back tempests, but now with Arc Discharge change I rather weave in a 8-10 CL between 2nd tempest procc if they procc back 2 back.
Doing 2 tempests back to back seem to eat up your Arc Discharge procc, and you end up with 1 charge of Arc Discharge after 2nd Tempest, whereas in the example I gave, you take advantage of both charges of Arc Discharge, and 40% extra on the CL that you weave in in the middle of the 2 tempests is good. Or am I mistaken?
In AOE and with pwave buff up, wouldn’t you want to consume with lightning bolt if you don’t have tempest and pwave is expiring? Or are we generating/spending MSW fast enough that we can always consume with tempest?
No, you want to only use primordial when you about to get a tempest proc (after x40 maelstrom spent) to maximise output. If wave comes up at the end of a pull, save for next
Well, Totemic is doing much better in AoE than Stormbringer, at least in sims. (did not have a chance to test it due to heavy lags after the patch) It does 24% more damage on 7 target up to 50% more damage on 15 targets. Totemic build you showed in the video is terrible, I am shocked people are posting it as best tree for that hero spec. Is is truly awful. Something like this is much better: CcQAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMzMz2MYGMzYegZGzMbbjZAAAAAAAAAAAWgFYGLasNAmJYDAz20YgtFGjBzMz2MWMzkFWmZZWmZAAYA However it is a lot worse in single target, about 25% worse than Stormbringer. This is mostly due to fact that totemic takes PWave branch for bigger AoE damage, which is really bad in ST.
