@brentrealin7070 there's currently a bunch of bugs, one cancels rapid fire when you're using Kill Zone. It'll be fixed soon. Also, make sure if you're in Valdrakken, you're not hitting the big rock golem dummy as he's for tanks only. I've had that be the answer before lol. They'll get the bugs ironed out this week.

Hey Mark! It's because of the season 4 tier set from dragonflight. Volley gives you trick shots for 6 seconds and when you use rapid fire while you have trick shots up, it gives you another 6 seconds of trick shot. So you can just continue to extend your volley for as long as you have your rapid fire up.

@@travismoore9554 No. It is horrible though. Pathetic. Dumping the damage CD is the same as cutting off the bow fingers.

Damage it pretty good in AOE at 80, I haven't compared our ST to other classes though. The tier set bonuses really need work because you basically don't use them during your trueshot, which feels pretty bad. I don't test PvP, so I'm not sure on that one :/

@sethshaffer8592 you can put the point in hydra's bite, in the rhythm, deathblow, etc. You have several options. You can even drop your point in one of the ammos or bulletstorm to pick up barrage and rapid fire barrage. Those are all options for M+.

Greetings! Welcome back to the game! I would say this is an awesome time to learn MM hunter (but I am biased.) Season 3 and season 4 of DF was so much fun to play a MM hunter and our rotation/playstyle doesn't change a ton in TWW. I would say give it a shot, do some dungeons, get a feel for using Trueshot, for getting your trick shots up for every aimed/rapid fire and just do some keys. Screw up. Make mistakes. It's the best way to learn :) For example, in my M+ runs that I post several times a week on my channel, I'm making goals for myself. Try different talents, different trinkets and to send Trueshot constantly. Work on focus spending so you whittle the cooldown of the ability as low as you can. Because that's the best way to increase your damage in TWW. Work on getting 1min-1:15 Trueshots. I hope that helps and send me a message anytime if you have questions!

So a ST opener is the abilities that you want to start an encounter with, so you can do the most damage as possible when you're in your TS window. The rotation after that is just the different priorities you need to follow to the most damage out of your character during the "valley of our dps". MM hunter bursts, then hits a valley dps wise, then bursts, then valley, so on and so forth. For M+, you'll have different talents than the ST build in the video, since ST is for raid. You'll just want to do everything the AoE rotation does and if you're on a ST boss in a M+, just don't use your arcane shot during Trueshot and sub out your Multi-Shot use for Arcane shot.

I know I'm going to have fun with my MM hunter. We're in a really good spot in the pre-patch and we're still seeing tuning changes on the beta. Currently, I'll be playing a Sentinel MM Hunter and there's a lot of great passive damage and our trees are looking much better than alpha/early beta. Dark Ranger is what's seeing some tuning, thought I haven't tested it in it's buffed form in the beta yet.

@ripedroxx it's hard to add it to the build for ST. It just becomes a rapid fire with a longer CD that also costs 2 more points in the tree. It's better in AoE but spending 2 points for it is still steep. And it's kinda weird to play around in an aoe opener atm (slow).

I haven't seen that yet! We don't have to deal with hero talents yet in the pre-patch, so they have some time to get them right. Thank you for sharing though. I'll start working on my season 1 guide in the coming weeks as the official launch gets closer. I really hope they will not just buff damage but also focus regeneration and the tier set, since it feels TERRIBLE to play with during Trueshot.

Absolutely did. Made 2 tiny changes based on my playstyle. In the main tress, I moved points to trailblazer and the other speed boost. Removed the implosion trap and can’t remember the other for that.

@@Magik160 Yeah that's totally fine! There's a ton of flexibility in the general hunter tree based on what you'll be facing in an encounter or dungeon. It's great!

Hey there! So in TWW, if you want mythic track items, equal to mythic raiding, the only way you get them is from completing a 10 or higher in your vault. Hero track, like it is now, is the max you can get from end of dungeon rewards. The only difference from DF is that they pushed it back to doing a 10 to get the max reward, from an 8. Keep in mind, an 8 = 18 from season 3 of DF and a 10 = 20 from season 3 of DF. I haven't worked on the BIS gear list yet, but you can expect to have a mix of M+ and raid items.

@@MrEggplantok thanks I normally get all in 23 both weeks (old system) before I burn out in a season what I have found in prev. Expansion is that I needed to raid for Bis gear like weapon and trinket etc so was just wondering if Blizzard had changed their approach in ragards to “Raid or Die” gear philosophy in TWW

I know that there will be other avenues to get gear, like Delves, but I didn't test any of those. I'm not sure what ilvl that gear goes up to. My guess is that there will be a great trinket or something like that from raid, but if you do a lot of M+, you should do just fine.

Hey SlowBloke! (Love the name btw), I'm not even just thinking for MM either. I think it would be worth a point to allow you to lust without a certain pet family out for BM and Surv and without a pet in general for MM. That way BM and Surv could run with a movement speed pet or a health pet and I could just click a button. :D I've been asking for that for a few xpacs now though.. I'm just whittling them down! ;)

@hakangunes9895 yeah it's noticeable. Sentinel will help a little bit with that once we hit 80. If they want us to use WA and Readiness, they'll need to tune it a little higher. Currently it's not super smooth on the beta at 80.

I don't really but any weight in tier lists. I've played MM when it was D tier and I've played it when it's in S tier. I'm seeing a lot of great damage right now at a 564 ilvl. Doing good damage in both ST and AoE. Even if we are B tier, I'll be beating the dps in A/S tiers, most of the time at least :D

@streattv your tier set does. Whenever you use a rapid fire while you have trick shots, it gives you 6 seconds of volley.

@hernan5310 correct, I talk about that in the video. It's something that there's a blue post on and they're currently working on it. Kill Zone is the way to go when it's fixed, for now I would put that point in another talent. Hopefully it'll be fixed by Tuesday 🙏

I actually posted this prematurely. I just started using the build you showed for single target and I was actually looking to put that on my bar. I didn’t know how it worked. I’m fairly new to wow and it doesn’t help that I’m a total moron when it comes to this game.

@@kero68 It's pretty similar for M+ at ST, just without wailing arrow. You'll want to have your TS up for boss pulls and go Explosive Shot, Volley, TS, rapid, aimed, aimed, rapid.. etc just use rapid if it's off cd and then use aimed until you're out of your TS window.

Well I really appreciate being called a professional creator :) I'll get flamed either way. I'm a clicker because I don't have full control of one hand because of an accident as a kid. I just learned to get around that by clicking when I started playing WoW in 2007. Clicking is heavily criticized, which I found out when making RU-vid videos. So I'd get flamed if you see me drag and drop my volley. And my work around that was to have a macro just for my guides to auto drop my Volley at my feet, so I wouldn't get flamed as much. I'm sorry you didn't like my work around, but I'll also be honest MM doesn't have a ton of cool animations or special effects to see. I totally get where you're coming from with it being chaotic though. I wish there were more dummies around to show this sort of thing without everyone else's spells going off on the screen.
