Who is a sadhu? In today's world, such words do not hold much significance. They are often confused with a person who performs "pooja" or does penance etc. This is the biggest myth. Kabir Sahib says that a person who is controlling his "indris" or the sense organs is called as "Sadhu". Now we have been taught that there are only 5 sense organs in our body. Again this is a myth. 5 sense organs - eyes, nose, ear, skin and tongue are certainly there but there are 4 other in our mind called as "Sookshma Indris". What are these? So effectively Kabir Sahib is saying that a person who controls all these 9 sense organs is a "Sadhu". It is difficult to control the 5 sense organs we know of, the 4 sense organs of mind are even more difficult to control. So how do we control them? These questions are addressed in today's Satsang by Satguru Madhu Paramhansji. Watch the video for answers.
