Trocks797 and I went to Fern Creek and got two Thunderbolt sirens recorded. He went to Wheeler Elementary School, and I went to Cedar Creek Baptist Church to record the one at Bates Elementary School. I left an audio recorder with him, and this is my recording. There's no volume compression on my recording, so you get the full dynamics of the siren as it rotates. I had to use a high pass filter to filter out some of the wind noise, because the wind was blowing hard enough up on that hill to penetrate the wind screen. At the end, the horn stops pointed right at the mic, and you can clearly hear the chopper wind down. You can also hear at least one 3T22 and probably other Thunderbolts throughout most of this recording. I'd also like to thank Fritzhvac for letting me know that this was the high pitch Thunderbolt I've been looking for for three years.
