ive been skiing here for 13 years and going cornice to main is still my favorite thing ever. also i might just have to start saying “lets get it corniceeee” every time i ski cornice
The Main Lodge is not "The Bottom"! Top to bottom is Dave's Run, past Chair 9, and run out to the bottom of what was Chair 15. Our place was at The Summit Condos and we always ended our day with that "top to bottom" run!
The guy recording did an excellent job, let’s be real though.. the stick that’s holding the phone is what gave the quality video. The guy on the snowboard is far more impressive than the guy w the camera, did you guys not see those tricks?!
@@somerandomguy7458 SLC has like a dozen legit resorts within 45 mins. The snow is way better and you're smoking crack if you think Mammoth is less crowded than even the most packed resort near SLC. The terrain at Mammoth is good for beginners, I guess that's a selling point for some.
bluemystic7501 of course Utah aha better snow resorts, it’s arid and cold, so mos of the snow is powder. Yes sometimes Alta or snowbird can be very crowded, sometimes more than mammoth. Mammoth can be more crowded as well.
@@somerandomguy7458 I've been going out to Utah every year for the last 15 years. I've been to Mammoth once for 4 days. I've NEVER seen Snow Bird or Alta (or any resort near SLC) even close to as crowded as Mammoth. That may be due to the design of the mountains though. Mammoth has some serious bottlenecks and a 20 minute wait at the base was pretty common on the weekend.
