This is a cool vid. I’ve watched other Bnsf locals work this business here in Centralia Illinois with my buddy Scott Nauert back when him and I used to come visit Centralia Illinois on Friday’s and weekends too. I’m just glad Bnsf still uses this ConAgra brand business in Centralia Illinois in their best attempts to keep it going & in business. I remember years ago it used to operated by Gilster Mary Lee company but then they changed it a few years later. I still wonder how often per week Bnsf has their local job come there to switch cars for them? Probably just a few times a week at best I would say.
Wasn't this where you caught #552? Also, do you know what happened to that B40? My friend caught it trailing on the local going North in Girard with like 4 fresh CP ACu's. But overall, cool video Brodie!
Another great video brodie, and to answer your question dead end productions the 552 along with some of the other 500's are currently in storage in Barstow, California. The only 500 around this area is the 541 which got rebuilt down in texas a few years back its in h4 paint and is currently the road switcher unit at Beardstown with a GP. Also the only 600 around is the 636 which is currently heading back to Galesburg on the L chi664 from Eddyville, Iowa hope this info helps.
@@garrettyancey6228 Thanks man! Funny enough, my friend and I were waiting for 541 on the local from Beardstown that was tied down in Lowder, IL. Not only that, but a female engineer too! Their session was about to expire hence why the tied down. And Saturday, I actually did see 636 in Litchfield! Thanks so much for the info.
No problem i work for them the 1409 and 541 came into beardstown they pulled the 541 off and put it on the road switcher their. They sent engine lite the 636 and 1689 out of galesburg to beardstown to put it with the 1409 and brought it down so the 541 probably is going to be at beardstown a while. Their should be a southbound manifest come down to centralia tomorrow night not sure what power will be yet.
