Thank you for these videos Christopher and welcome home to the Catholic Church! I have searched and searched for a good explanation of how to pray the LOH and came upon your videos last week. They are excellent! Concise, easy to follow, and informative. So, thank you and may God bless you!

Thank you, Christopher, for creating this entire series! 4 years have gone by and it's still helping people (like me) learn how to pray the Liturgy of the Hours. UIOGD.

Thank you so much for making this series. I have been using the iBreviary app but I wanted to read from an actual book. I actually got the four set after watching your other video reviewing the shorter one. I kind of got a hang of it during my first evening prayer with it but after watching this, it gave me a better understanding. Thank you so much again and God Bless!

The 2nd prayer you mention at around 7:20 is taken from the collect of the mass of the day.

Thank you for your videos, they where shared with me being that I am starting my own journey with praying LOTHs. Right now I’m using and app while I’m waiting for my books. These video should really make it less intimidating to start. Thanks.

Don't give up! Once you get past the initial feeling of being overwhelmed, it will become second nature.

Mr McNicholas mentions a prayer that he cannot the Liturgy of the Hours. The date given in the uploaded video is Thursday, March 14, 2019. This was the Thursday of the first Week of Lent in 2019. The Collect he refers to can be found in the Daily Roman Missal First Week of Lent, Thursday, The Collect on p. 224. See Daily Roman Missal published by the Midwest Theological Forum.

Thanks a lot for making this tutorial. I'd been trying to get into praying the divine office for weeks, and this was just what I needed.

You mentioned Podbean for getting to the Divine Office podcasts. I just wanted to point out that you can add the podcast to most any podcast reader. The various podcasts can be seen listed at this URL: player.fm/podcasts/Divine-Office-(DivineOffice%252Eorg. When going there and clicking on whichever podcast you want, each of them have a Feed link you can click, copy this URL and it can be added as a subscription into any podcast reader that allows manual subscriptions. I just bring it up as I already use Pocket Casts, didn't need another podcast player, and definitely wanted to check them out. Thanks for the videos, they are awesome! So much information though, having to process it all is tough. I picked up Shorter Christian Prayer for now, may upgrade to Christian Prayer later, and then, if needed, on to the full set.

Hi! Just wanted to give an update on the app. They’ve updated the app already over the years. Its much more streamlined now. All the complementary psalters are put to the back, so you can basically just read through your whole thing quite easily. I use the app primarily because the actual hardcopy breviary is difficult to get where I’m from (malaysia) and its very expensive. But ideally, we should use the book. Because our phones are not exactly consecrated for prayer alone.

If possible, could you teach me how to pray the "proper of saints" - Ordinary Time (trying to pray now...but I am confused.) as well next time? Greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much, Christopher, for posting these videos. I just received my box set and was feeling intimidated but now I feel prepared to really dig in. I'll definitely be checking out your other videos! God bless!

I enjoy helping people, so don't hesitate to ask any questions! If you wait a week or so, you can start with Ordinary Time... it might be easier to become more familiar with the flow during a "normal" time of the year.
