Hello 👋🏿 thank you for stopping by and taking the time to watch our video. Join us as we feed the cows salt. While feeding the cows I share a few reasons i have chosen to move to rural Zimbabwe to build our homestead.
We are the Tandi’s and this is our channel documenting our journey back home to Zimbabwe. We have been building our homestead in rural Zimbabwe. In this episode you will see my reaction to seeing our house for the first time after 5 years!!.
Our goal is to have a sustainable and self-sufficient homestead that is offgrid. We are going to install a borehole, solar for electricity and everything else.

I also started my preparations to move back to Zim three years ago, but I am not yet done puting a number of things in place before my final move. I have a few projects that are already running and I look forward to moving back

This is something I didn’t know people did and I went to the rural areas on holidays and we would go herding the cows sometimes but never gave them salt.

I didnt have a clue that cows ate salt nhai, thanks for the enlightenment . We lost several cows too last year ne thus mysterious disease. Enjoying your videos giving us a holistic insight ❤

Great vlogs. Looking forward to more of these. Mombe dzinodya salt, but the best method is to put blocks of salt mudanga instead of feeding them by hand because in the long run that can be time and energy consuming.

Later on I asked him if cows had teeth 🙈🤣🤣🤣 after my hand was in their mouth 🤣🤣🤣🤣 needless to say I have a lot to learn about farm animals and homesteading.
