These people were caught. Don't think for a second that this is an isolated incident. Where public money is involved especially in a sympathetic environment ( Oh, somebody think of the children) the corruption is RIFE. Throw on top of that the FACT that virtually no public employee is held to ANY standard, and this is what you get. And what is the response? Demanding more and more money for education!!!!

MOJO89OTDT What about all the WHITE bankers, who destroyed the financial system due to their ineptitude and greed. It cost taxpayers 1 Trillion dollars to get the financial system working again. These white bankers were already millionares and wanted much more money, and ended up costing the taxpayer much more than these teachers, and ended up with no prison time. But, oh, I guess the teachers were BLACK so the inner racist in you has to come out.

This ordeal has prompted me to really think about the affected kids when no one is actually talking about how to effectively help them. People are concerned about staying out of jails (defendants) or putting someone in jail (Prosecution). We decide to take the high road and focus our efforts on how to help the kids.

Was hoping this was an April Fools Day joke. How sad is the American Educational Institution. My nephew was in the 7th grade and didn't know the correct order of the months. When I confronted my sister-in-law with concern about her son's education , I was told to mind my own business. He walked across the stage to receive his high school diploma a few years later and we all knew he probably had a 4th or 5th grade ( and that's being generous ) education. Never in a million year's could he pass a SAT entrance exam for college. These educators need to have their teaching certifications pulled and never allowed to teach again. Same goes for cheating administration.

RD Ford How about charging parents tuition for every term their child doesn't pass every class with at least a 2.0?

RD Ford So you are trying to transfer some of the blame to parents who criticize the convicted teachers but did not visit the school enough? Really?

chanel #9 , yes I believe a parent's involvement is essential to their child's education. Why do you find that so shocking ? I am not by any means excusing the behavior of these teachers. But the kids who couldn't pass these Standardised Tests are most probably a product of parents who could careless about their child's education. There is enough blame to go around. And the kids are the ultimate losers.
