So true. I saw a video of Wallis taking off in just a few meters. Ok, that gyro had a six cylinder engine, but still.... BTW, I saw the JB movie at 10 years and wanted a gyro ever since. A few years ago I finally bought one. And got my license 1½ years ago...

For a short grass runway. Do you recommend going full power after releasing brakes, or do you still think is better to go to 4500, wait for 300 rrpm, balance nose and full power?

Spin the rotor up to max RPM the manufacturer allows, (Cavalon is 320) release the prerotor, stick full back, full power immediately.

How much runway do you typically need for takeoff? Then how much clear space ahead do you need before you climb?

HARD TO HEAR WHAT HE IS SAYING THANKS FOR THIS AWFUL MUSIC THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE BACKGROUND, BUT IT DISTURBS EVERYTHING SO I STOPPED WATCHING THE VIDEO THANKS FOR THIS BAD MUSIC. NOW CAN'T STOP PUTTING IT ON, WHY NOW HAVE SUCH CRAP, IT'S BETTER BUT THE ENGINE NOISE AND THE PILOT TALKING!
