@@reesehendricksen1871 the end of Tokyo ghoul is far from being bad in fact it is one of the best things in the manga that it was a happy ending does not mean that it was bad, the dynamics of kaneki and furuta in that final fight between the two of them and how it ends with Kaneki accepting the reality of this world that's why the panel "this world is not bad, it's just like that" it is the end of Kaneki's journey of how he knows that everything that happened to get there was necessary to be who he is now And it shows up in his Chat with rise. and the character of furuta the same as this one, knowing since he was a child he will die at an early age, he decided to do what he wants and destroy the lives of others. so that later he shows that he really just wanted a normal life with rize Maybe it was a bit rushed but for me it is one of the best arcs in the manga
@@itsmejg255 okay here is why the ending of Tokyo Ghoul isn't good, it doesn't answer the central theme of the show. The main idea behind the show was a conflict between two groups that seem destined to fight and kill each other till judgement day sounds. What was the solution that they gave, artificial meat out of nowhere and a new third enemy to fight against. It doesn't solve any of the underlying issues, basically with the wave of a wand the source for conflict went away, they didn't earn it. That's what bothers me, the characters didn't earn the "solution" to their problems, they just went away without having to really change themselves or society.
