Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - I Don't Think Now is the Best Time (track 11) Composer: Howard Shore I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE MEDIA. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED TO WALT DISNEY RECORDS!!!
I just love the intensity of the entire piece. Where it becomes gentle, where Will and Elizabeth were ABOUT to kiss, then go furiously back into the fighting music. And again, leads you to the soft music. It just all plays out so well.
I love the 'wtf' look Will gives Elizabeth when she shouts, "Barbossa!!" when he asks her what her marriage choice is. :P Seriously, though, these soundtracks are just epic. Just... epic. No other words are needed.
"Elizabeth. Will you marry me?" "I don't think now is the best time" *Sword clash* "Now may be the only time" *Sword clash* "Barbossa! Marry us!" *Sword clash* "I'm a little busy at the moment" *Sword clash* *Barbossa does marr-i-age ritual "I know pronounce you... You may kiss... Kiss... Just kiss already" *Will and Elizabeth clash swords with each other and kiss* Best moment of my life... Yayyyyyy!!!!!
0:00 and 1:36 "I see dead people in boats" 0:33 and 4:06 "Singapore" 1:12 and 2:12 "Davy Jones" 1:56 and 6:16 "Bootstrap's bootstraps" by Klaus Badelt (also in "I've got my eye on you") 2:43 to 2:55 "Mermaids" (POTC 4) 5:02 / 7:37 / 8:44 "Jack Sparrow" 5:55 "Hoist the Colours" 6:09 "What shall we die for" 6:27 to 6:44 "At wit's end" 6:49 to 7:15 and 7:52 to 8:32 "Up is down" 7:19 and 8:33 "The Black Pearl" by Badelt (also appears in "Wheel of fortune") 8:59 "One day" 9:21 to 9:47 "Wheel of fortune" 9:53 "Skull and crossbones" by Badelt
Hans Zimmer was originally supposed to compose the first PoTC but had a contract with a different movie that prohibited him from working on other things at the same time. He said that he did however help Klaus get the gig and helped(secretly-ish) with ideas when possible.
Thanks for the information. I didn't know that. So some of the "Curse of the black Pearl" themes were in fact made by Zimmer ? I guess that's why he kept reusing nearly all the themes from Potc 1 in 2, 3 and 4.
Christopher Stanley In all honesty I would said "Signal other ships to charge immediately, get ready to fire and steer hard left, don't let them circle us!"
Intense action althroughout, wow! Then, 9:01 comes [when Elizabeth and Will kiss in the middle of the battle] ...And you realise Hans Zimmer has just invaded your senses. You're partially catatonic and you realise he's truly a musical genius!
My favorite part is by far 8:59. When Will and Elizabeth kiss and the camera spins around them in slow motion as everything is blowing up, breaking, getting shot etc. So cool.
Davy Jones -Well look at here boys! A lost bird! A lost bird that never learn to fly! Jack Sparrow - To my great regret......fortunately....it's never too late to learn! (flies away with in the mooring line)
Best. Wedding. EVER!!! Elizabeth: Barbossa! Will: *thinking* GOSH DARN IT LIZZIE, FIRST JACK, NOW HI- Elizabeth: Marry us! Will: ... *stabs random guy*
I love when elizabeth says "Captain Barbossa ! Marry us !" and instead of saying like "wut ?" he says like "I'm afraid I'm a little busy at the moment!"
I remember the tune at 5:38 was also somewhere else in the soundtrack, but an octave or 2 higher played by horns. It sounds epic. Does someone knows the title?
Pride and Honor are not the same thing, though small people often confuse them. I'd be very surprised if twenty years later there's not a James Turner.
Davy Jones: Ha ha... Lookie here boys. A lost bird. A lost bird that never learned to fly! Jack Sparrow; To my great regret. But,.... it's never too late to learn ay! Davy Jones: The chest! Hand it over! Jack Sparrow: I can set you free, mate! Davy Jones: My freedom was forfeit long ago - AHHH!
The first part of this song uses Lord Cutler Beckett's theme (because it is his death), and then it goes back to the Maelstrom battle where they mixed all previous themes. I can't believe of all PotC songs I haven't heard this till now!
+άνθρωπος.of.камня I was joking. I said that because you made a mistake by saying Howard shore instead of Hans zimmer. I guess you didn't get the joke.
