Halloween version is good. Queendom version is one of the best things I have ever seen. I don't know if you are allowed to post it or not, but... do watch it. The melody is the same (Nightmare)... but if you think this was emotional, you haven't seen anything yet. I find that as cool as the costumes and the makeup are, they actually detract from the experience of the song.

The Put It Straights are both incredible. I find it so hard to rank their songs, but these are definitely 2 of my favourites. They performed the nightmare version on the first 2 nights of their world tour. I really wish i could see them when they come to London this year, especially as they are performing it.

Relay Both versions are so good! Put it straight has a very melancholy feel to it while the nightmare version is straight up unsettling. I give the slight edge to the normal version as I listen to it more often but love both! Can't wait for more! 💙

Would it be weird if I said that I have a thing for a mummy? Yes? Okay, then I won't say it. 😁 Also, how people noticed Miyeon going in so hard at the beginning that she flipped her veil off her head? Both of these are great and, yes, I'd put the nightmare / Halloween version above the original. Speaking of Halloween versions, just a reminder that if you ever get to Purple Kiss's Zombie, there is a Halloween performance video for that one too. Be sure to put it right next to the original one on your list. I actually like the Halloween version over the original for this song as well.

I really enjoyed your reaction, Ross. And I totally agree with your thoughts, it is an amazing and a truly special song, (G)I-dle is a truly unique group. I love both versions and which one is on top of each other can change at any moment. It's also worth noting that this was the first album where the members did pretty much all the heavy lifting, mainly Soyeon, so it's amazing that she came up with this on their first self-composed album. 1. as I´ve mentioned before, Put It Straight to this day is and probably will always be one of my all-time fav songs. I adore it with all my heart, I love how eery and atmospheric it is. Lyrical-wise it also just hits different. It feels and sounds so sincere.. I don´t know about you guys but I´ve never listened to a song like it. A ballad with the most interesting choice for instrumentals and a steady pace. In my eyes it´s fucking perfect. Finger´s crossed that they will release just one or two more songs like this...
