Not really. All teams are gonna have games like this, it's only going to make them better. The SEC is obviously loaded this year but they have a good chance to be a top-16 team once the postseason starts. They wouldn't lead the country in homers and be one of the most high-scoring teams if they weren't a good team. A 20-2 record speaks for itself... you can't win every game in baseball but they have done a good job of taking care of business in every game except two. Obviously, still a lot of ball to be played this year so the conference schedule will show how good South Carolina actually is. Big series against Missouri this weekend, will set the tone really for the rest of the year.
@@AstroGGBaseball I think they have the potential there to be a CWS contender, we just have to see how they stack up against the elite competition in the SEC. Like LSU, Arkansas, Florida, and Vandy. I think their play against those teams will really show the type of team they are. The Missouri series was huge to get that sweep, so they're showing a lot of promise. I do think you're right to have some hesitation on how good they are, still a lot of ball left to play!
