Excellent podcast. Paul Vice MC, I hope you keep up with the public speaking if at all possible as you have alot to offer Royal - people are genuinely interested. Andy and Tom I think you guys host these podcasts very well. I'll go on and hit that subscribe button now.

This is the best talk and so honest. It touches on a subject I get really annoyed over. It is people saying they have ptsd who really haven't a clue what is PTSD. I have a friend who was attacked in their home by strangers and has flash backs and imagines that they are going through the same thing and when the doctor said they had PTSD they went mad. It is not the same as someone in a war zone who has what is shell shock old terms, blood sickness in medieval times and is not something people should say they have if they don't. Celebrities particularly anger me when they say they have it after child birth. Get a life. Child birth is difficult but seriously. I like Paul Vice because he doesn't pander to society. It is ridiculous how society is now and how many fake people are out there, making out how tough and hardcore they are and hero is a term that shouldn't be used lightly.

You’re not a hero for treading on an IED. Well said for acknowledging that. I’m a former Bootneck who left just before the Iraq and Afghanistan conflict. I remember being really depressed about watching the news and hearing details of my old unit (40 Cdo) and what they were doing in an operational capacity. It must sound bizarre to some people who are going to read this, and to be honest it does seem stupid when I consider it now. I am aware that you should be grateful to have not been exposed to the horrors that a great many of the boys have and still suffer from.

Mate I know this is an old video but what happened to the two fuckers who set the command I.E.D off please please tell me the lad that got away with the blast was able to shoot them!!! He was probably fucked up you marines say yeah he got away with it but was probably smashed up!!! You can see Paul Vice in Afghan in 'Deadly Underfoot' ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VbxNFKCH6YM.html . This guy is an inspiration to us all. My sister's husband was in 42 Commando for his whole career 20+ years and you couldn't meet a nicer bloke, so whatever they do at Lympstone obviously works. Crack on fella you dodged 'the 4 foot coffin.'
