Jeff, this page is one of best on YT. It's like a safe space for men. I got one. Get rid of lethargy. Start exercising and get your butt in the gym. I guarantee you will feel better, look better and you might bump into a fit young lady.

I agree with a lot of the things you spoke of eliminating. One in particular is the need to be perfect. It’s like a bow tie. A store bought pre-tied tie looks too perfect and phony, when you tie it yourself, it is never perfect and is beautiful!

Perfectionism led me into one of the darkest periods in my life that lasted for at least three months that I'll never get back. Fortunately, I was young and had the energy to work my way out of it quickly. It was onward and upward after i realized that I didn't always HAVE TO "stick the landing." Keep trying new things,do things that you've never thought of doing,get out of your-COMFORT-zone. I volunteered to go fight in Iraq on 4 deployments ( also did 2 tours back-to-back ) with the Texas Guard,I was in infantry units.I was bored working 2 full-time civilian jobs ( did this for 10 months )and wanted/needed a big challenge,I was already in the guard,so off I went. LOL. On these 4 tours in Iraq I kicked in countless doors,arrested and detained countless Iraqee citizens and insurgents,had many fire-fights-some lasting 3/4 hrs and never a dull moment. LOL. I embraced these and other challenges that came with these deployments,the reason I only did 4 tours was because the military started going-SOFT-on terrorists/insurgents ( they see this as a sign of weakness,you never what to be seen like that ) even insurgents respect a show of strength. So,I stopped deploying,going soft on insurgents can get you killed very easily.

I'd add to bad habits of smokin' cigarettes : the price; if you get rid of the cigarette you're in better health, you're less irritative, it prevents you to go further i mean, i was proposed marijuana because i was a heavy smoker and now i don't smoke, it's a pleasure to breath freely and that's priceless ! Now i can buy a pair of sneakers to go running 'cause now i've got money !
