11 Things to Avoid When Writing Your First Draft 

A lot can go into writing the first draft of your story. It takes more than just a simple idea, but you can easily overwhelm yourself with the details. Today, I'll share 11 things I've learned to avoid when writing that first draft.
Now, I'm not saying that all of these will impact your first draft or that you'll fail if you do them. However, they are worth mentioning as you are writing that first book. There will undoubtedly be things and techniques you'll learn over the years that will ultimately make the process much smoother as you write.
