@@rlmalonzo1184 excluding last year where Gobert and Wemby were clearly better defensively, the past 5 years prior he missed between 20 to 46 games a season. And he was not better than Giannis in 2020. He is an all time defensive player, but sometimes the competition is just better.
To be fair I don’t seen that called a lot. Barnes was already stumbling and AD went straight up. The difference is when his arms came down all he hit was the ball
The greatest defensive player I’ve seen. Been watching the NBA for 20 years. I feel like he has lost a bit of his athleticism and flexibility lately because I feel like 2020 AD would’ve altered or blocked Jamal Murray in those 2 game winning shots 😢
@@geoffnaggie961 It's hard to gauge Duncan's perimeter effectiveness because that wasn't his role, but he certainly wasn't a Rudy Gobert who could just get pulled out and abused. Garnett was a better perimeter defender than AD though.
