Fantastic work, guys! Might I suggest that hunter weapons with lower stat requirements have a higher proportion of their damage in their base damage? This would make them more viable in lower level builds / invasions instead of being restricted to sl meta
Nice change on being able to move and transform weapons. All I really hope is that y'all make the rifle spear better damage wise than it was in BB. I loved its look and moveset, but man it's damage is bad. That and an actual projectile attack would be sweet. Thanks for all your work!
i hope to see more bloodborne added to the mod in the future, my favorite armor in bloodborne is the crowfeather set and i hope that gets added to the mod :P keep up the awsome work
That’s my favorite weapon from the Old Hunters DLC!!! The Beast basher Sword I think it was called (or something) I would love it in DS, it would be way too OP. DS slower pace would make all BB weapons automatically OP.
I do believe they stated their focus was to speed up combat with this mod, as well as balance it better than FromSoft ever tried to, so that Overpowered perspective will eventually be made irrelevant. Regardless, this is all very exciting. Trick weapons are by far better than ds3 weapons. Waiting for the trick Scythe.
I wanna see a comparison between champions ashes and cinders mod also id like to be able combine them for an epic mod pack that would make DS3 the best god damn game ever
Is there a special offhand moveset to these? Like the driver thing. I can't remember it's name... If they combo into each other with the light attacks that'd be perfect...
In the current build, 1.4.2, BB weapons can only be equipped in the right hand. The don't even show in the menu when you open the left hand slots. Also you can't two-hand anything in the left hand if a BB weapon is in the right. So you can't use bows in the left hand with BB weapons. I'm betting it's because there are no left hand animations for BB weapons.
Also of possible can you overhaul the greatsword moveset? I practice martial arts irl with a flame bladed greatsword (flamberge) and I cringe every time I see that lovely blade being smashed and thrust into the ground
Cinders is kind of copying bits of CA with their latest 1.87 patch since the beast whip transforms now with Left Trigger, but their weapon balancing with trick weapons compared to Champion's Ashes is just horrendous. I still very much enjoy both mods though. You can't run them together, but you CAN get the Ashes launcher to manage Cinders (not update it, but run it.) Makes it so much better than constantly moving files around.
None, it's a mod the weapons just exist in the game and as of now are simply purchased from the Handmaid at Firelink Shrine along with the new non-trick weapons in the mod as well as the few new armor sets.
