note: NEXT week's pregnancy update will explain the miscarriage symptoms and urgent care story. That happened in WEEK 12, not WEEK 11. As I sat and filmed this video I hadn't yet gone through that traumatic experience. Thank you for all your prayers and kind words. Me and #BennettBean are doing just fine now!
I actually lost about 10 pounds in the first trimester with both of my pregnancies and didn't gain any weight above my pre-pregnancy weight until week 20 both times. It's so hard to put on weight when you don't have an appetite at best and feel nauseous and sick at worst. I think the frequent small meals is a great plan! Hopefully you'll keep feeling better so you'll want to eat more. 😀
So happy for you and the little bean. I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant with baby #4 and what a rough start we had. Between week 7-9 the doctor detected no heart beat and the baby was measuring severely behind growth wise. Doctor told us to prepare for impending miscarriage, this baby was a result of IVF so to say we were devastated is an understatement. Not only the thought of losing this little blessing but thinking about having to go through the whole process again, paying all the money again was heart breaking. Went in for another ultrasound at 10 weeks, low and behold baby was there measuring on track with a heart beat of 171bpm, what a complete miracle and gift from God! Hearing you talk about your scary situation brought me back to all those feelings of fear that used to be ever present for me. Luckily God has brought us through and we pray every day all day that we are able to care for and bring up this blessing from Him. So happy for you and Weston :)
luving life wow I'm so glad you and baby are ok! Look at God always coming through and working mirackes🙏🏾 I orY a continues healthy pregnancy for you and delivery!
We're a week apart in our pregnancy, I have had no nausea throughout my pregnancy and I'm 10 weeks 2 days and I can defiantly start to see my bump showing and it feels like it's came out of no where! Super excited to have my first baby!!
I really needed to hear this... I’m ten weeks today and I cried on my husband’s lap because of lack of energy and trying to keep up with a two year old. We’re quarantined in our room most of the day while Dad works from home. I’m sure I’ll feel better next week... (hopefully) ... anyways thanks girl #GodBless
I am 10 weeks 4 days pregnant now. Have been following your videos every week. So far my experiences are good enough, not really experiencing nausea but like you said, dont feel like eating especially after sunset. I am keeping myself hydrated, infact, water intake is way more than what it used to be before I got pregnant. Thank you for your weekly updates, really helpful, its like having someone who's guiding me on a weekly basis. God bless ❤ All the way from India.
I am so happy to hear that you and your baby are okay. I just started watching your videos (I'm 10 weeks pregnant with my first child), and I love how positive you are. Your faith and kindness truly show through your videos. Thank you for sharing your heart and your experiences! Sending my best wishes to you and your little one!
I'm 20 Weeks pregnant and I'm barely started to gain weight (I gained 2 lbs back from what I lost in the first trimester). Don't worry so much, my baby is a pound already and is super healthy! As long as you eat regularly, you're doing a good job
I lost almost 9kg which ard 20lbs. I still haven't checked my weight. But I am hoping I have gained some pounds. I am eating a lot at night. That is the only proper heavy meal I have. I am almost 11weeks now. My first pregnancy. But my baby bump is very small. Is these all normal?
I ate healthy and when I felt hungry. I just lost weight in my legs and arms I dropped 2 pant sizes. everyone thought he was going to be 6lbs. I also hiked every day for exercise. did a hike up a mountain at 40 weeks pregnant.
kirsten mills ok thanks! I was so happy to be prego with my daughter that I ate everything and gained so much weight!! It was HARD trying to loose it. I'm trying to do better with my next pregnancy as we're trying now and I still haven't lost all the weight from my daughter. I just need to be disciplined with eating healthy, resisting cravings and staying active. Thanks!
Hi Natalie! I'm currently 11 weeks pregnant and wanted to tell you that I've followed you from the beginnings of your twin pregnancy with your boys! I actually was also pregnant with my first pregnancy at the time with twin boys and they were born in Aug 2014 and now it's been so fun to be doing this journey along side you again with just one little baby also 😊. I've felt such a connection with you and your videos, thanks for all you post!! ❤ lots of love.
11 weeks pregnant with baby #3 and I also followed along with these videos when I was carrying baby #2 as well! Such a fan of your channel, and it's so crazy to see Hailey as a big 3 year old now!
Really Enjoying these updates!! Dont worry alot about gaining weight. As long as you are eating healthy you are good. With my second baby I didnt gain a pound until i was 20 weeks, i gained 17 pounds total, pretty much gained everything in the end of my 2nd trimester and 3rd trimester. You look great!
Don't stress about the weight. Every body is different. I didn't gain a single pound until I was 20 weeks pregnant but it then went on fairly quickly and by the end I had gained exactly the amount my doctor recommended. Your body will probably just catch up once you are feeling better
Emma and Family both my boys I couldn’t gain by myself I had to use protein shakes and only gained 10 lbs. with this pregnancy I’ve lost 8 lbs but I’m heavier then I was 5 years ago.
Don't worry too much dear. I have a petit frame and never gained any weight, only lost some untill 20 weeks! My babies were all 7 to 9 lbs! If you eat healthy and 5 to 8 smaller meals and snacks per day you are good to go.
This was a great video. I am 11 weeks and 3 days with identical twins and it is hard to find videos with good information from a normal human who isn't totally consumed with only getting views or babbling on about other things - thank you! Will deff be subscribing. --- week 6789&10 was awful. I was had so much nausea. And horrible migranes. But once I started eating more and properly I started doing better. Still not totally past the nausea point for me. But feeling much better than I was!
You can look up pregnancy smoothies, there are some great recipes for weight gain during pregnancy. Even plant based recipes. Peanut butter or almond butter is always good to add to smoothies for some extra fat. You look great!! :)
Just gotta say, I found your lovely preg videos and watch them all as I go along in my pregnancy... (that we had been waiting for almost 3 years now!) 😁I am 9 wks 6 days now, but on my last ultrasound (2days ago) the baby measured at 10 wks 4 days (so my EDD went from 9/22/19 to 9/15/19) idk how that happened, lol... yet I started my pregnancy at about 121 lb but weighed 119 lb at this last prenatal/ultrasound apt. Idk if I should worry about not gaining weight, but the baby is still growing, which is one of the things I was worried about. Ultimately, I know that whatever happens is in God’s hands! 🙌🏻 But also pray that He protects my baby of any and all harm. May God bless all of our beautiful miracles!!! 💕❤️💗👶🏻
I'm 11 weeks and still sick and exhausted! The last couple days the nausea had decreased slightly, though! I also noticed that my belly button is starting to develop the lines nigra. I'm also very over emotional. :)
I didn't gain any weight until 24 weeks because I was so sick in the first and in the beginning of the second trimester! Doctor said as long as I'm gaining what the baby is gaining he'd be happy! I'm now 36 weeks and have gained 22lbs!
Loved watching this Natalie! I know with this being my third pregnancy I'm already struggling to be okay with the body changes. I have more curves and have never been able to lose all of my baby weight. I wish I could but I have never been successful with this. I am hoping to be more accepting of all the changes I will be encountering.
I lost 5 lbs in my first trimester because I was so sick with my first son luckily everything was fine with his growth and then I started gaining in the 2nd trimester once my morning sickness was gone.
I know these are old videos but I am 11weeks going to be 12 weeks soon and at 11 weeks im so happy im starting to feel much better now, I was puking and feeling like crap all the time but im still tired all the time, I cant wait to have energy to clean the house again. MY symptoms have pretty much been matching up to you I also lost weight but im not showing at all yet im told this is bc its my 1st baby I cant wait to have a bump!
My nausea seems to be better during the day but I do still get queasy after 5pm. Also my gag reflex is terrible, I’ve been struggling so much with swallowing my prenatal vitamins… I also don’t feel like my energy is back yet.
I feel blessed that I haven't experienced nausea in my current pregnancy but one symptom of pregnancy that I've been experiencing a lot is fatigue. I always need to take a power nap during the day evwn if I'm not really doing much. My eyes are just automatically shutting down at around 2-3pm. Haha!
Week 11 and day 1 pregnant today i feel good not like before extreme fatigue and extreme nausea. Just how you explain 11weeks of pregnancy that's how i feel.
my friend said she was losing weight up until she was 30 weeks. & I didn't start to gain weight till I was 27 weeks, when I was 25 weeks I was so worried... but it has always been hard for me to gain weight
Don't be too concerned about weight. I lost 6kg by 20 weeks. Now at 32 weeks I've only gained 4kg back! Baby is healthy and a little chunky so nothing for me to worry about!
I`m 32 weeks pregnant & during the 1st trimester i didn't gain any weight either i lost as well, I did start to gain weight during the 2nd trimester & i`m currently at 14lbs weight gain so try not to worry too much, Just do what you said about having a few snacks ect you sound like you know whats right for you X
11weeks and feeling well. Tell me about it!!! I'm 11 weeks and nausea and vomiting have gone. Now I have new concerns. Last Thursday I went to the ER, I was bleeding and doctor found a Subcorionic Hematoma. Although he told me there's nothing to worry about if I follow instructions, but I am really scared. Does someone else have had same case?
Hello, i really enjoy your videos as I just found your blog. I'm also 11 weeks pregnant today due April 27th 2017. I had to make myself morning smoothies with bananas, spinach, some sort of milk and cinnamon. I had vertigo from 8-11 weeks of pregnancy (I'm 11 weeks today) and it was just awful. I actually lost weight too but being that I'm 160 pounds it didn't cause to much concern. I'm so excited for you! I also have a tiny pregnancy Vlog after my husbands vasectomy reversal.
That is so interesting! I'm week 11 now, didn't gain any weight and even dropped one kilo since the beginning - I tried to eat consistently, but the nausea was REAL during weeks 7-10. Then the nausea (almost) stopped and I went back to my normal amount of food but still was extremely exhausted all the time. Right now we are in a Greek hotel with all inclusive (basically stuffing our faces with all the delicious Mediterranean food 😀) and I feel a HUGE change in my energy levels! I can finally human! It wasn't until I watched this video that I realized how this is definitely connected, I guess my normal portions were just not enough!
Both my pregnancies I lost quite a bit of weight. Both pregnancies were healthy though with healthy babies too. Just didn't like eating very much particularly at the beginning with sickness. I agree eating little and often is the way to go.
I am watching all your updates an vlogs. I love you and your family and I get so much energy and inspiration from your videos. Thank you so much and all the love and luck to your family. God bless ♡
I've lost 7 lbs in my first tri. I started at the high end of normal, and have had terrible nausea. My OB with my first pregnancy was terrible to me about it. My new OB isn't going to worry unless I don't gain in the 2nd tri.
I literally gained ZERO weight during my entire pregnancy! I actually lost about 20-25lbs after I gave birth. I was also extremely sick and had intense food aversions with my boys. I also went to a nutritionist but that didn't help lol. I just ate whatever I could tolerate.
I am 21 weeks pregnant and am still down 4lbs. I have not gained any weight at all. my Dr said she wants me to have gained 2lbs by my next appt in 4 week.
I am 11 weeks and 1 day also right now, but I am still ever so sick and exhausted. The fatigue is the worst with little pains and all. I never have good pregnancies, this is number 3 for me and number last! Lol even my husband said this is unbearable for him seeing me in so much pain.
I’m 12 weeks with my first baby. I have only gained like 5 pounds. My mom only gained 19 with all three of hers so I think it’s normal because I’m eating so much!
I’ve lost 8 lbs but I’m a bigger gal so my midwife wasn’t worried. She said to just eat as healthy as possible. I’ve not thrown up but still have nausea and food aversions. I couldn’t even eat my ice cream bc it tasted like throw up. 😭😭 Super tired still.. 😴
P.P.S. I just have to say that I love your editing. You put such detail into your videos and editing is certainly not an exception. It doesn't go unnoticed! :) Your videos are masterfully and thoughtfully edited!
Don't worry about the weight gain. It could have just been a difference of water or you didn't eat so much the day before. It's just one pound! I'm in week 18 and haven't even gained one pound yet lol I live in Japan and here doctors are pretty strict about weight gain. Not in my case but with a BMI of 18.1 I'm still only advised to gained 18-24 pounds in my entire pregnancy while in my homecountry in Europe it would be almost double that. I know you are not like that, eating for two and stuffing your face with unhealthy stuff, but I think in the US weight gain during pregnancy is too much.
I think.. but not sure that pregnant woman should eat 6-8 small meals a day...or 3 reg meals and 3 small meals besides your reg. meals.. yes, you are fortunate I was sick the whole entire time I was pregnant (3 weeks to 43 weeks)..I hated being pregnant.. at least 10 times a day I would get sick..I couldn't keep NOTHING down..I should of been hospitalized but Doctors didn't know what they know now about pregnancy sickness..(17 years ago) hope and pray you keep getting better with each week ..also I pray you gain some weight..your an intelligent woman I'm sure you will do what is best for you and your body/unborn baby) I'm really excited for you and your family..good luck..God Bless and have a wonderful day!!!
I wouldn't worry about weight. I lost weight first trimester. I'm 25 weeks now and only gained 8-9 pounds. Doctor doesn't seem worried at all. Third trimester will fix the weight gain haha!
Hey sweet girl! Where did you get this amazingly comfy-looking sweater? I'm always asking you about what you're wearing haha! Sorry ;) Glad Momma and Bennett Bean are happy!
i was told everything i put into my body needed to have calories. i lost 20 pounds with my pregnancy. so i drank things like gatorade and things between meals that had calories in it. i was so worried about water, but it wasnt helping me
11 weeks pregnant tomorrow and the only thing that makes me throw up is picking up my puppy's first poop in the morning. It gets me every single time 😂
It's crazy hearing you say that you can't really see a change in your belly, because when you first showed the belly shots I thought to myself that you belly is showing!!!
I'm 11 weeks and 4 days today, first Baby! It's safe to say I haven't been sick at all through out my pregnancy, but I feel this like ugh feeling that I can't really explain and it usually hits around 6pm... I feel so much more like myself lately, though. when I'm "hungry" it's like BAM! I wish it would creep up, but it just goes straight to starving! Haha.
I have hyperemesis (severe morning sickness) I have lost weight and am quite underweight at the moment and my doctor told me the baby will be totally fine. Your body looks after the baby so it will get what it needs. I don't know what their obsession with people gaining weight in pregnancy, if you're eating you are doing fine!!
lachick heartpurple this video was filmed a few days before that happened. I discuss the situation in my week 12 update which will be published next week
