Whitney Houston performs in Stuttgart, Germany 1999 (My Love Is Your Love Tour)
This is one of the better concerts during the My Love Is Your Love era. Houston is in mostly good vocal form here; this can be seen in her performances of My Love Is Your Love and Heartbreak Hotel. However, the highlight of the concert is her raw, impassioned performance of I Love The Lord, which sadly was not recorded completely. Another highlight is her vocal sparring with Amanda Marshall during her performance of I Go The Rock.

lol that "WHITNEY" scream at 4:27 scared the absolute crap out of me. outside of that, of course, she was magnificent

Weren't ppl complaining about her voice during this time. To me her voice during this time was still on its on level. She is the best.

Yeah. Which now bugs me out! She wasn't in vocal decline at all here. If anything, it MATURED!

@@timmy841212 the European audience mostly was used to her 1987-1990 era voice because that's when she was a hit in Europe, that's why they complained.

@@redlightning9130 Might have been because she got more open about her soulful roots. But she still sold out in Europe. Most of the complaints at that time were from Americans.

I always felt like the States was most critical of Whitney’s voice during this time. But in the end. Overseas really adored Whitney w/e the situation may have been.

Loved the fact that she added Otis Redding's The Glory of Love and a little of Alfie before going into IWALY! This whole medley was magical.
