This is always an over-simplified statement. To hold the parents responsible for their kids' actions might be missing the mark by a long stretch. We have to understand that having the parents arrested may not make these type of kids care at all. What if their parents are doing all they can but have to work hard to make ends meet? Years ago, parents' right to discipline their children in the same way the schools were disciplining them corporally was taken and so parents are afraid. These kids need to be jailed and not be released until they've done years of hardcore labor, on hard mattresses, and given cold food to eat. And no one with misdemeanors like child support cases or traffic violations need to be categorized with them. People in jail need to be categorized and taught a lesson in different ways based on the severities of their crimes. This is why some other countries overseas don't have these types of problems.
