Love this video!!!😻 Amazing achievement for Gunner and all the 11 yr old boys in this race, especially my Grandson Cameron Brown😻 So exciting to hear crowd getting loud as Gunner goes around last turn and everyone is realizing he is on record pace!!

what a fantastic achievement, i hope he gets to stay in the sport and happy, makes me appreciate even more the 12 year old girl at our club who ran 2.06.5 back forty years ago, sadly left running a few years later,

That race was phenomenal to watch, Gunner was amazing! Can only hope he is in someone else’s race next time lol( my Grandson Cameron Brown was 10th place behind him🙄

Not really. A 2 minute 800m is basically a universe away from a 1:40

@@HollywoodWROkay? Just because he is eleven doesnt mean anything. There are probably tens of thousands of people who have the potential to run 2 minutes at 11 but only a few hundred may have the ability to run 1:40

The word record holders were at about this pace at this age..so yes has the potential but it's a big thing to keep it going until he is fully developed. My boy here in Oz ran a 2.07 at 12yrs old and not paced. He too has great potential but it's a long road

Very well done. Our country must go to rural areas..there are kids who do this on a normal school or corner shop run but there are no facilities. We need to unearth more talent in the most farthest places to see what the human body is truly capable of. Right now its just who has access to. Facilities. Anyways good job to the young man. Bright future

why go to rural areas where there are no facilities? The times will reflect that. If we are looking for the best athletes and fastest times, hang by the gyms and tracks. What's really your point? More welfare programs in the rural areas?
