I believe they do--look at what they have done. If they only care about money they'll never do something like authentic cockpit. What I think is happening is, they're severely under-staffed, which makes bugs/issues to exist for years before finally get fixed.
Sure, they fixed .50 cals and other machineguns, even some 20mils. but Gepard's 35mils sound like two plastic spoons being hit together. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. And the worst thing is, it sounded great on the dev server.

I waste soo many planes flying straight towards me in 2.0-4.3 tanks because they don't realize that I'm almost guaranteed to kill the pilot or light the engine up
Ahhhh... the .50 Cal The Oldest of the Multi-Purpose guns in use, and still a Fan favorite of both East and West(enough to make opponents develop equals, or so you think)
Last patch they were a joke. I don’t know who’s idea it was to make them sound like that. A couple of patches ago they sounded good, and now they sound great again.
Gaijin: "wait now the 50 cals appear to be better sounding than the god of war that is our beloved dushka!! This will not do" Update xx. Xx. Dushka gets these sounds and 50 cals revert to 2 spoons rattling in a tin can recording. Phly daily found crying in his shower washing constantly , unable to wash off the hurt!! 😂

I love how roof mounted MGs are manned by ghosts, with lone exception of M18. There's literally no disadvantage, it's magical remotely-operated gun, you meet the enemy, you insta-fire .50 cal and only hull penetration or some v. lucky shot to the MG itself can stop it.

I don't bother above 5.7 these days with repair costs and bullshit associated. Rank 2-3 is the actual fun, meat and potatoes of the game Gaijin usually ignores as much as possible. Rank 2 BP challenges is what is needed. Wall off the noobs they already do it in other modes.
They should change it from 'God bless America' to 'John Browning bless America' because a: gods don't exist and John Browning does and b: John Browning has appreciably contributed to protecting and strengthening the nation.
i bound a key to select the roof MG on all of my american vehicles so i dont have to worry about my main gun being out of position if i want to do some AA work. the .50's are actually really capable of disabling aircraft, even with just the one
Your seal clubbing at low tier with that plane reminds me of a mosquito killing thousands of children with malaria. Kinda harsh but it’s really dumb that planes are in ground rb but you can’t have anti air or boats in air rb.
Day 37: Phly, you should play the Hawk III Chinese fighter; 900lbs of bombs in a biplane at 1.0 that you can dogfight in after dropping. Totally balanced.
I’ve been bored lately so I was just looking through the planes at their tail numbers and I recognized a plane, the F-86K-35 Skyblazers(FU-201 31201) is at the Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum in Titusville, Florida. And for anyone that has a spare $500-600k its for sale.

Day 7: Hey Phly, ive been watching you for nearly 2 years, but i downloaded the game 3 weeks ago, im grinding the Russian tree, BMP, T-80 and T-90. I play RB, and ive reached the PT-76B along with the T-34/57. I get 1-4 kills each game. Ive noticed that extremely many of my controls, especially in Air battles are unassigned, and im unsure what every one of them do. I cant seem to find a video where you show all your controls and keybinds. If you have made one, would you link it for me? If you haven’t made one, id really love to see one! PS! Mini Phly is so cute! Love from Norway.
Phly, remember to always fire the .50 cal, it chews through any tracks in the game with 3-5 seconds of direct fire. Also can we talk about how awesome the .30 cal sounds, like damn

Yeah they sound good now Attempt 266: please take the crusader mk.3 to 5.3, the heavy solid shot teabag mk.9 can go through the UFP of tigers at 100 meters, also the hurricane mk.IV with 8 RP-3s and a 16.8 second turn time it is quite easy to uptier

dude, i am Tassos from Greece...you forgot to check the cannons before you tell us that gaijin fixed the 50 cals...gaijin, fixed the 50 cals BUT gave the previus sound of machine guns tooooo...guess to which!!! to cannons of course!!!!did you hear the sound tha cannons now have? i tried cannon of the p-38 (which was awesome) and its now worse than the 50 cals BEFORE gaijin fixe them!!!as always, gaijin fixes something and ruines somethiing else!!!...also; TRY F4U OR P-47 50CALS FROM...COCKPIT VIE!!!!!
And then in 2024 they changed the .50 cal sounds for planes, made them sound like 7.7mm. It is so sad that Gaijin keeps changing things that don't need to be changed.
As a guy that's actually qualled 50 this brings joy to my heart. This is by far the best 50s I've heard in a while. It's like a more crisp version of the old 50s years ago on the planes. Just heard the sound bite phly did and these are way better. 😳
ＤＡＹ ２： Request for a weekly or bi-weekly _"Close Calls/Crazy Kills Highlight Reel"_ video! *BUT* Instead of using phootage we already saw, it'd be snippets from the Match Replay Recording _(or whatever it's called in WT)_ showing us events like where a round whizzes by you, or when you've fired over a cobblestone wall and manage to get the kill. So in those cases, instead of showing us it at the end of the video (or interrupting to show us), you'd go in to your recordings after the match and quickly grab the slow-mo video displaying how close that round got to you, or how close your round was to the structure you shot through/over. This was inspired by your "AMX-50 Superbias" video where both occurred! Early in the video you had managed to aim just above a cobble wall that was maybe 100yrds infront of you, and took out who you were aiming at. Where _even you_ chortled with surprise, it seemed! Then coincidentally, on the one shot that whizzed by, you even said _"whoa did you see that?"_ heh Which, I did, but would've been really cool to see it in slow-mo to get a true sense of just **how** lucky you were. Thus, I think both would've made perfect clips worthy of a highlight reel. Better yet, since this is not simply collecting the highlights similar to the "Best Moments of ", but would be _all new,_ unseen content... it'd be incentive for us to watch. :) And easy enough for you since it'd just be grabbing snippets here and there, and compiling them together without the need for much match context, or even much (if any) added commentary. _(Granted, some may need context, which you can nab from the relevant videos you already made.)_ Thanks _(Seriously, YT Markdown, why do you hate me so much?!)_
Phly's songs are funny but pretty catchy. I can't get 50cals of love and happiness out of my head (help). Also, Phly realising he's been doing YT for 9 years, and me realising I would've been in primary school at that time and my phone had buttons instead of touchscreen, and Phly is wondering if he has a 9 YO army yet. And then he breaks into song again. This lifted my spirits today. The 50cals sound soooooooo much better than last patch, both for air and ground. What I love is that as well as the rat-tat-tat-tat of the gun, you've got the chink-chink-chink of the gun mechanism as well. It's ear candy. I watched a Forgotten Weapons video about the M2HB and War Thunder's 50cal sounds a lot closer to the 50cal now than in last patch. The 303s are gorgeous, but the 50cals sound like they've got more punch. Then, the ADENs, they're ear candy, they sound like they've got a cannon's worth of stopping power behind them. I'm not entirely convinced with the 20mm Hispano Mk.II, just doesn't sound quite right, a bit scratchy like it hasn't been oiled well and things are rubbing (best I can describe it). Might just be me though, need to get used to it.
