This song is kinda saddening if you think about all Church and Caboose have been through throughout the years. He disappeared three times on Caboose at the end of seasons 6, 8 and 10. And it looks like that'll be happening to him again at the end of 13.

Remember all the dumb and playful memories of playing and singing this with my Reach partner, on a Blood Gulch custom game fittingly too. I missed him for the longest time since his accounts across platforms were inactive and he never responded despite always messaging. I finally messaged people on his friends list desperately, after a couple ignored messages, until someone broke the news of what I had always feared, he took his life at 18 / 19. I was devastated after searching for a little more than 2 years. I am still in disbelief. All I can hope is that he is at peace, wherever he is. Love you and miss you, Devin (Juggernaut87452), and I am sure your sister and father do too, and how fondly I remember our close memories with Jerry and Lynda bonded almost like a family. You will never be forgotten. I wish I could have been there and done more, to at least have had a final word of how much I cared and still do. Please cherish the good people in your life, even if you are just playing a dumb game online.

Some depressing stuff about, "Your Best Friend." The season 8 finale has Church leave him to go find Tex in the Epsilon unit, telling Caboose to remember him. The season 10 finale has Church leave the base altogether to go on a mission with Carolina, which she says will take a "long time"; Caboose is the first to notice he's gone and to remark, "He's gone right now," which in context implies he understands that Church is going to be gone for a long time. NOW try listening to him sing about how all he wants is to be Church's best friend.

This is so cute. But if you think about it, as the song progresses, it's kind of like his mental decline throughout the series. The crap Caboose has been through since season one kind of explains his mentality going out the door over time. If he dies though because of that or just at all I'm going to fucking cry. Out of all the characters, he's the least to deserve that fate. Assuming he didn't come back.

Well, that was a spectacular kick to the feels.

Don't feel too bad about the ending of Season 13, guys. Caboose will find a way to bring Church back, believe me... _...he always does._

Sheesh can you imagine how depressed caboose is after season 14, he lost his best friend. Salutes to caboose with honor, he deserves a friend.

Oh my god, how did I not know this existed

Caboose was both me and my best friend's (He's really more like a brother honestly) favourite character throughout all of the series. My best friend did suffer a traumatic brain injury when we were young, and he'd always point at Caboose and smile, and make these little noises of excitement (He couldn't talk, and didn't know Auslan yet). I think in a way he resonated with Caboose, he'd often draw Caboose in his place when we'd draw our families and stuff as kids lmao And guess what? When he got a service dog, he named her Freckles! Maybe Caboose's character was just there for comedy relief, but honestly it was the best representation my brother ever got, they both struggle to communicate but are genuinely smart people. Years later and we're both sitting here (with Freckles, of course) listening to this absolute gem :)

The memories from watching this show just all coming back.

My friend "Agent Arizona" and I were writing an epic continuation after the chorus Trilogy where Hardgrove managed to capture the reds and blues, and Wash was allowed a "recovery" team once again. He got some old jailbirds seeking redemption, Locus trying to learn to be a perfect Man now, no longer a soldier, Felix put back together with metal parts, his body in agony, and a mysterious girl from Felix's past who inadvertently started his bitter arc by having dreams too big trying to save the universe. Arizona and I dreamed of working at RT and making this story real one day. I like to think it would have been really damn epic.

I was smiling at how adorable, funnny, and cute Caboose is, and I was also really sad because of how Caboose only wants Church to be his friend... poor Caboose, I would be his friend any time!
