need a bit of talc on rollers when wet stuff goes through help it grip

If you come across a piece of hardened steel put it aside for when you have time to make a new roller on the lathe.

If you're gonna use the same scrapyard and will be getting checks, get an account at the same bank. They'll clear the checks faster if they're from the same bank.

Hey, about the guards on your stripper. You can mount them with magnets, like strong HDD magnets so you can have guards and remove them easily. Not that it matters.

Here in the UK, all scrapyards have to pay direct into your bank account. We also need to produce photo ID. This was brought in several years back to combat metal thefts as the traveller community don't tend to have either the ID or a bank account.

I drill a hole in a 2x4 a little larger then the wire and drive a sharp drywall screw thru the 2x into the hole deep enough for when I pull the cable thru it cuts to the copper and works surprisingly very well

If you ever get the chance to buy chillers of top of buildings that they run antifreeze through buy them they are full of copper pipe and some are brass we cut one brass one's apart to see if if had brass or copper pipe it had brass pipe the end we cut of weight over 900 pounds of brass it was back when copper was around 6 to 7 dollars when we was done with all the chillers he made over a million dollars on all of them Bud hi everyone from northwest Missouri ❤❤❤

I don’t get checks my yard will cash out on the spot unless over 20k then they will wire transfer. Cat cable is some of the hardest stuff for me to get rid of😂

I know this is the obvious, but if you take the check to the bank its written on they should be able to cash it providing the issuers account has the funds. But thats just extra work on your end that you shouldn't have to do, plus if you don't have an account with that bank they want to charge you a percentage. Its a bunch of BS that a company can't pay cash to a seller even if they give them their business info to have on hand. I geuss they suppose everyone has lots of money in their accounts and dont need access to check funds immediately.

i have strip 600 by hand with knif in one with the wire in the same and pulling with the other hand i love striping spaghetti by hand i have told youalready but ilike to tell again i got a pickupload of wire yes my truck bed fullit had a mix of all kinds5/600lotof spaghetti but strip it by my self no one help me the place i took it to thay said thay have never seen so much copperwire cut up at one time yes i cut it into picesthe number one i had two and a hafe brarrels full on hadwire and ethe otherhad copper tubing and copper pipthe hafea brarrel had wire that didnt fit inthe full one a lot of copper that day now igot4 brarrels full now whiting on the prices to go up be for i sale it im geting a little triared now good luck and my you be blessed
