1:19:27 - collectors need a “trophy room” to be able showcase our top cards, top skins, top titles, land etc…

My idea is every set going forward will have ultra rare max cards. 100 commons, 50 rares, 25 epics and 10 legendary cards These cards are randomly inserted in packs. The first one pulled is 1/100, the second 2/100 and so on Each card has a sweet emerald border and the same artwork as a normal card except the artwork is animated! How sweet would that be! This would put pack sales through the roof! You never know when you would pull one Cards cannot be burnt. They give +50% glint bonus or 50% land production points. Would you play it in ranked or put iron land??? Decisions decisions! Great talk with BD. Stay the course and keep on forging!

I would add, Death is clear in its design: scavenge, poison, affliction. Negative or "dark" abilities.

If we remove chaos early from modern, we would likely have an issue with match liquidity like Hep said around 58:36 - however, if we had some modern bots by the team, we would see SPS earnings in modern skyrocket, then demand for Rebellion would grow rapidly.

When you say "I don't need it" 3-4 times in a row, in reference to Tofu, you know what that really means. You need it. ;)

P.S there has always been that one card that has been overpowered why break the trend- Olivia is perfect 🤑🤑🤑definition of High Demand low supply, if you think tofu is expensive wait till we get to unlock her🤑🤑🚀🚀🚀

I was actually the one that first mentioned to Nate back at Splinterfest about numbered cards, and have been pushing it to Matt years ago. I have sprinkled the idea to different streamers but have never heard anything back from anyone, other than people stealing my ideas LOL. I know Matt likes the idea of super rare numbered cards, but still haven't seen it yet. Like I said before, the sports card industry has made a fortune creating scarcity from one of one cards that people spend tons of money chasing. The team needs money, simple, just make some super rare numbered cards of different parallel editions, number them, and possibly make the one of one have a special holographic foil and a unique ability added to it. Please tell me, how many people would start purchasing up packs chasing that one of one card? Even a small fish could get lucky and have a true grail card!!

In the first part of this interview, you mentioned that you didn't want Splinterlands getting as complicated as Magic the Gathering did. One benefit of usigg a bot to battle is to let it do some of the thinking for you, if it is coded to keep up with all the new abilities and such, so that you can analyse the battles and learn from watching replays of battles. At 48:50 it was mentioned that you're never gonna be able to do enough damage to knock out the mimic card in question. What about using a card with Recharge, which attacks with 3x the power? It might be able to knock that mimic card out. Having Ambush and Recharge in a single card would be useful. But of course you gotta hit it.
