You know? I'd love a call-in episode where you can ask her casual medical advice. Of course, they'd have to preface each call with, "I am NOT a doctor. What I am about to tell you is not a substitute for actual medical advice from a qualified doctor." It would be hilarious, though!
I JUST got back from Jamaica. The poverty is certainly horrible and tragic but once you spend more time on the island you realize that sometimes the folks working the cruise people are hustling you. Hustlers in Jamaica are really good. She is telling the truth about the disparity between the resorts and how the local folks live. But the ONLY way we can effectively help many of them is by visiting the resorts as much as possible. We heard this from those that work at the resorts and those that don't. The more you visit the more jobs you can create and everyone wants to work at the resorts. I just wish that warehouses or some type of business infrastructure could be built without ruining the local landscape and quality of the natural environment.
Ms Pat I understand the Jamaica story I went to the Dominican Republic in 2011 and it was the same way there it is such a sad situation in those countries there has to be more that we can do for these people. I am poor for American standards but I am rich compared to these people in these other countries.
I truly love all you guys. But I really miss Garrianna. It would be excellent if she was on again. Anyway, this was another great episode from y'all. Keep them coming please ❤❤❤💛
