I think you didn't watched complete video When internal connector block is missing Then just cleaning the metallic jacket has no meaning

Thank you. I have an Infinix phone. This will be a handy reference when the USB wears out - which they do because of poor quality material and the unsuitabity of this type of connector due to the ease of dirt ingress.

I have seen a lot of those microusb connectors like that. That connector is far too fragile for the average random clueless person. The law should be change so when purchasing complex electronics there should be an IQ test and if they fail they can't buy the item ;-)
