Any team would have been glad to have Reid Simpson on their roster... Tough team player, that always showed up... The bouts he had with Probert & McSorley were classics..
I remember watching Reid play in PA with Kimble. Very personable, and Simpson had the heart of a lion. His fight with Dan Kordic when Dan played for the Tigers was legendary. Nice interview boys.
Great show guys as always! Also just learned a trivia today while I was watching a half hour of Hammer Schultzie on the Skinny Joey podcast recalling the 50th anniversary of the Flyers cups. He was relating that those Flyers (74'-75') teams were the last All Canadian team to win the 🏆 You would of thought that it was later than that, I didn't know that and I'm a hockey fan. 🫨
These interviews from Chris and Tim are awesome! You get to know the real person behind the fists!! I drive an 18 wheeler and these interviews make the time on the road go by quickly!!!! Thanks guys!! PS. I’m also a Sabres fan!!
Another great interview Chris, can't wait for you to invite Mario Tremblay one of these days...you'll probably break a record audience if it ever happened....specially from us french canadians.
Reid was on the best technical fighters to play during his era. He was lights out with the Bears in the early 90s and hardly lost any fights at all in the American League. Good interview boys, cheers..
