It's really difficult eating a meal/ drinking while watching these old 5150 shows. The vibe is much better than the newer 5150 shows. I mostly watch the old shows like this when doing housework to make it much less painful.
Twenty-fifteen is my favorite year of the 5150 show. All I remember is having a face full of tears and side cramps from all the laughing they had me doing every week 😭😭😭 Saw him in person for the first time in the summer of the following year at Zanies in Nashville. Hell of a show!
Ever since Bobby left the show, there is never anyone to challenge Corey or Zo. They all just agree with one another and sometimes it can misinform listeners from a historical perspective. Freeze luv mad funny and a great addition, however, I think the show needs Bobby to bring that perspective and disagreement to challenge Corey in his way of thinking along with Zo. It used to be a time you rarely saw Zo making jokes and laughing all through the set but bringing deep knowledge in heavy doses, now its is very intermittent at best. Good work 5150 crew, just make sure we see some critical thinking on addressing issues and just because someone disagrees does not make them a sell out or a koi or lame. #5150nation

+Anthony Brian Logan real talk..I use do to watch the show for a balance of comedy and intellectualism and it had great balance and worked well. Now it's leaning towards all comedy while trying to address social issues and Bobby was the perfect stop gap to Corey and others from flooding these topics with too much comedy. But with Zo and freeze it just overkill at times

Anyone notice how quiet Darlene got when the guy said Mexicans aren't friends of blacks lool because she knows that shit is true. Just slow down and think about it, when have Mexicans spoken about black issues? I would say the vast majority of Mexicans despise blacks as they have bought into the same stereotypes that they are plagued with such as being uneducated, unclean, criminals. When Corey said Donald Trump dissed "Our brown brothers and sisters" I had a hard time imagining a mexican family firstly addressing us as their black brothers and sisters and not Mayate or Chanate which is the only way I've ever been described by Mexicans. The only cool Mexicans are the ones that grow up around black people the others hate us more than certain white people
+Sean Ace A few afro latinos acknowledging their african roots doesn't make latinos friends of black people. I am talking about "group" dynamics. Sure some latinos will acknowledge some things one on one, but how do they act as a group. You will find good white people individually, but as a group, a system, they kick black people's ass. Whenever we fight for our dignity as human beings, we say black "and" brown. They just fight for "their" issues. Look at what the Dominicans are doing to the black Dominicans in DR. Look at the comments coming from the latinos during the Mayweather fight, I thought it was a clan rally. I will acknowledge we should get our own businesses, but in the words of the black historian John Hendrik Clarke, "Black people you have no friends."

Why did Zo tell Corey "That's enough" when he was going in on Poetess? That was disappointing, and evident that Zo has an alliance with Poetess... double dipping squads.
I like all 4 of their personalities. Each one if them adds something to the show. Corey should be on a larger platform. His humor is very underrated. He should be the king of Shock radio. Howard should pass the Torch! I love Darlene, Zo & Freeze too.
