My 2017 f250 doesn’t have the 4” screen. Only has radio buttons. Not steering wheel controls either. Will I be able to install it?

Hi there, I have couple of issues with my unit: 1- It switch off whenever the vehicle starts after a stop... In order to keep it running, I have to turn the auto start off. (as if the power cuts off and on again.) 2- navigation button doesn't launch the Navigation app... I have to go to App list or settings to run it.

Do you need to remove the battery to install the screen?

I bought this same unit and my climate control lights stay on sometimes. I have to to pull the fuse for lights to go off. I have removed unit and installed my OEM unit back in with no issues. I have sent 2 emails to phoenix automotive with no response. Anybody else having these issues? 2017 f250 manual ac controls.

I see you had the same unit just without the ac control before. My question did allow the ac unit to automatic turn on if you was using a remote starter. Like the factory unit would.
