can you show us how to run the client part from a smartphone browser?For me it works only with pc chrome browser not the mobile browser.Can socket.io run between windows node.js and mobile browser?

Windows users: In your project/source folder, hold shift and right click in your folder window. An option "Open command window here" OR "Open with Command Prompt" should appear, depending on if you have a file highlighted or not. Edit: be sure to not highlight a file, otherwise the command prompt window will try to run the file and probably close immediately because it isn't an exe, bat, etc.

Hi Daniel! Is it possible to use some features of the processing lib inside the nodejs server code? I wonder if I could do some common physics processing in the server, for a game based in physics like a snooker game, and send back to all players only the result so the game develops equally in all players screens.. can I do that?

5:30 x++ evaluates as x and then it's incremented by 1. That's why it showed up as 100 after x++ and then 101 after x

Help Please!!.. I recently learned node.js and now learning web sockets, to use socket.io (or anywebsocket) do we have to write a special server ?, so WebSocket can bind on to it? or we can just bind to the main hosting server (mine at hostgator), Because I m making this chatting website and planning to upload to a hosting site, where they traditionally provide you with server you just have to put you file on that server, so is it like I have to make server inside server or I get my WebSocket latch to that traditional server? I m so confused, am I missing something? I googled but can't seem to find anything, any help from you guys will be great, Please Explain! lastly sorry for my bad english.

are you on windows? these commands wont work on windows. Try powershell on windows.
