These are some of the most helpful RU-vid tutorials I've ever watched.

One of the best tutorial series I've seen for anything.

I enjoy these types of tutorials because they arn't much of "how to" and more of "what to do" They are awesome

This series was a real treat to watch. It's short and straight to the point explained in an easy, understandable format. This makes me feel a little bit more at ease in pursuing animation with so much great knowledge. Really great job man.

As someone with zero interest in becoming an animator I found this series very interesting. I like how much effort has gone into demonstrating each principle several times.

Really well made tutorials. I absolutely love how you jump right into it without a bunch of needless fluff. Many other people making videos need to learn how to do this as well!

Just got into animating and I have to say that these are some of the most well constructed tutorials I've seen. It's good that you don't spoon-feed us everything, but give us enough information to play around with it ourselves. Thanks!

Great series, I watched the whole thing. It's pretty cool how these principles make the animations appear so much more life like. I had previously tried to read through the wikipedia page about this stuff but it was difficult to understand. All the concepts became really clear when watching your videos.

It's really impressive how versatile your animation skills are.

This series covers so much even way beyond animation only. Some fantastic sum ups of very important general art and design principles mentioned on the side. So well compressed. I'm not an animator, nor do I even draw. But being able to now identify and name those details in works that I enjoy, enables me to appreciate the work that went into it much more. Thanks so much for that!

extremely nicely done! (i mean the whole series) i've been searching for a good video explaining the subject(s), and yours is so far the only one that doesn't have neither extravagant graphic style nor any unnecesary "noise" in narrative, standing in the way. drawings have a perfect balance of simpleness and style, and animations are done perfectly. kudos! and thanks! this helped my presentation about animation, for my kid's elementary school class, a lot! :)

You honestly great at explaining in your tutorial videos and it inspires me to continue with my art hobbies. I only wished these series or tutorials were longer since I surprisingly enjoy watching this a lot! Thanks Alan Becker!

This video made me both happy and sad. Happy because this is a very important and useful rule, not just in animation, but in general art. Sad because I feel this rule is not appreciated enough. To me, most "art" these days is overall uninteresting.

Wow, these tutorials help me a lot in studying for computer animation in my online classes. It helps me understand the main important meanings of each principle and how it works. Glad to know this incredible animator for years since I was a child. I've realized how he makes these cool animations.
