Tim was the first voice from God that helped me take a deeper look at the Bible. Today I’ve been walking (and stumbling) with Jesus for almost 5 years now.
Tim is such a sweet spirited guy. Love to listen to him teach and preach. All Glory to God of course, but Tim makes me happy. I'm just a nobody regular dude from the middle of Iowa. Found Tim through The Bible Project. LOVE THAT. Peace out!
The day I was sentenced to prison my mother came home to a winning lottery ticket. When I found out the news I couldn't help, but Glorify the name of God for extending his grace to my family, whom I felt I transgressed the most in my sin and to save me from the path of death I was surely led. Through a recent coming to know the salvation of Christ Jesus, I have been given "retrospective wisdom," to bring me to an absolute awe in the power and grace of His mercy. Words of opposition of men will never take back the personal revelation I have had of a Spirit guided repentance of the sinful mind and heart, and the personal experiences in life. Glory be to God, and from the right Hand of His throne - always bring forth the absolute sovereignty, power, and truth of the Universe.
Mitchell, my nephew is in prison and the Lord used me to teach him the Word when I would go and see him twice a month. It didn't happen overnight, it took 2-1/2 years. The Lord provided him with a cellmate who was a Christian and he is being a light to a dark world where few travel. I praise the Lord that my nephew sees the Light and also you, dear brother, shine shine shine for Jesus...we need more of born again believers to spread the Good News!!

I love the fact that he has doctorial understanding. He has traveled to the holy land, learned Hebrew, Greek, and prayerfully loved learning about God and Jesus.
I get so inspired, moved and challenged by Pastor Tim Mackie's teaching and simple yet so in depth love of the Bible and how practical he makes. We thank God for you. Will keep sharing and encouraging others to love and embrace Jesus. :)
So for me, this year I prayed that God would show me what I should do after I graduate. I prayed and prayed and I felt super stressed because it was July and my prayers weren’t getting answered. Last week God provided me with a job 😭 so what I’ve learned is that I should be patient and trusting.

I turned my life over for the Lord this morning because my sins were so heavy and God allowed me to feel the weight of all my sins and it was so heavy I almost passed out then he took it away all at once and his call to action for my soul was so strong I couldn't ignore it. I am on a new path and I have never felt better. Thank you Jesus for dying for our sins and I deeply regret every sin. He has wiped my slate clean and my name is now in the book of life! Glory to God!

I echo all the above comments, I have listened to a wide range of talks and material that Tim and his brothers have published and I have found that these guys continually and effectively communicate the story of God and they as Paul calls Timothy and us to ‘ rightly divide the word of truth’. A heartfelt thank you, shalom guys, keep on going, keep running the race Christ has called you to! I've never heard anyone explain about things in the bible the way that Tim does. I'm very thankful to find him on utube. Im not far from Portland As soon as my transportation issue is fixed I'm planning on going to his service. You are awesome Tim thank you...
This actually brought me a much deeper appreciation for my Dad, as well as a better understanding of my Father in heaven. But I know His love because my Dad showed me what it was supposed to be like beforehand
This video is incredible. The importance of prayer has been coming up more and more for me and this teaching here was very illuminating and definitely clarified some misconceptions I had, especially about the relationship between God, creation, and destiny. Thank you!!

It will happen to those who love Him, there is not a no. God is not the author of confusion nor a liar. It however is *how* God wants it to happen, and *when* God wants it to happen. May the grace of our God and saviour Jesus Christ be with all its people. Amen.
The gospel according to Mathews is framed on the context of "Family." Therefore, the intimate relationship between God and men is based on Father, sons and daughters. In the context, how to pray, when to pray, what to pray for is clearly reveled. Thank God for providing brothers like Mr. Mackie, to encourage the church of Christ in these difficult times.

Thy Kingdom come, Thy WILL be done in 🌎 as it is in heaven. Lets do the job that has been given to us, that is our WILL of the believers, spread the love to glorify our loving God and let be known. Do your job as believers on earth and God will do the job from heaven as promised. We need to want this in our whole heart, our whole mind and whole soul. Love you all Brothers and Sisters, seek the truth and it will be shown.

Tim should have been a preacher. So gentle and humble yet such a GENIUS. He is the perfect representation of Christ. I dont like when people dont respond to his "how're you guys doing?". He means to ask 'if you're getting anything out of this?", and people sit there with no response like dummies. I see worst preachers with grandiose self-image and exaggerated music/enhancements, still they get more responses from the audience. :-/ Such a shame. No wonder the humanity crucified Christ. We are not ready for the truth, feeling sad!
Wow! Tim, I would love to know your view on the so-called rapture. Also is the book of Enoch a book we should also follow? Was it actually a book that was purposefully left out of the Bible?
Was Jesus praying because He did not want to die or was He praying about the moment when He would have to endure being seperated from God's presence as He took on all of our sins?
It could be both because Jesus was fully God and Fully human. No human wants to die (except if suffering from huge unbearable depression and suffering which Jesus wasn't going through yet). No human wants to suffer (unless the person is a masochist and Jesus isn't one). But as God and as one that is in constant relationship with his father, he also didn't want to be separated from the father either. Imagine being told that not only will you suffer, but that you'll suffer completely alone and the ones you love the most will be completely separated from you. That is horrible. So this is why I actually think he was praying for both.
At 39:00 Tim says "if you don't ask, you won't receive. See how simple that is?" I love this video and love brother Tim, but I see it a bit differently. God gives us good things even if we don't ask. These good things are gifts - like Christ, like food on the table, a hug. Parents give good things to their kids even when not asked. But, I also believe God wants us to ask for good things - ask to play a role in God's kingdom purposes.
I can only give you thoughts which you didn’t ask for unfortunately. I have heard of these things happening, but they seem pretty rare. Quite a bit of stories coming from the Middle East too leading people to become Christians without actually being ministered too by a pastor or without even having read a Bible. Sounds hard to believe, but it seems to be happening and increasing in that region. We tend to see outpourings and revivals of this nature in areas that persecute Christians the most intensely throughout history. Perhaps, these days will come once again. It doesn’t help that we’ve had to secularize our culture so much that if there is a movement, we have to doubt it or throw our theologies at it. I heard the Asbury revival last year had a couple things like this, but other prominent pastors were shooting at it and ridiculing it. Same during the revival of the Jesus Movement days.
I ask at least one of you my brothers and sisters to please prayer for my success in this upcoming interview I have. I know Jesus will deliver me and show favour on me in this interview, but I ask you all to wish for my good as well. This new role will be life changing for me
Jesus had quick recovery tho.... I watched a show where this Russian guy was considered dead for three days. He came out of that morgue believing in Jesus.
Can Tim or any other person here recommend books to understand the historical, theological, or linguistic parts of the bible more? Thank you in advance.
I had read many books about God...Jesus....Holy Spirit; but, it wasn’t until I was willing to forgive stuff and was willing to surrender to Him that I KNew He is I AM. He loves us. Unbelievable.
I have had most luck with CS Lewis, Nabeel Qureshi was good but i dont remember why (a friend gave it to me) "No God but One" maybe I'll read that again. but theyre few and far between for me, CS and Tim stand pretty alone. A couple good ones but fairly old "The Nature of Faith" by Gerhard Eberling and "Grace in Experience and Theology" by Harold Ditmanson. peace :)
Tim mentioned praying for something or someone for years but wouldn't that be "vain repetition"? Not trying to be whatever, I just have a very hard time understanding prayer.
I like some of the videos from Bible Project, but I didnt like your analogies about God being a master chess player or like Shakespeare. I think it downplays Him a lot. I also think this can be more direct.
Those are simply metaphors he uses to make his points easily clear. Most preachers do I’m use metaphors and illustrations in sermons. There’s really no need to look for something to criticize. He seems filled with holy love & very genuine 🙏

It comes up for me often that the line of the Lord's prayer 'give us this day our daily bread' is attributed to literal food, and the promise from God that we won't starve to death. I deeply disagree with this interpretation... I feel that it is referring to the word of God as the bread of life, and that we must ask every day to be fed knowledge and insight into God's will for us to grow as God intended. Not actual bread. No. :-)
@@iwantthetruthandnothingbut6521 I agree it's both. I always think about manna in the desert and how that was a daily provision of literal food, but I also think about how Jesus is the bread of life. I think the prayer is asking for both physical and spiritual provision.
Luther identified it as everything we physically need to get through the day. We may not live on bread alone, but we do need to eat to keep our souls in our bodies! Can’t do the Lord’s work on earth otherwise...
