@@chrisX1722 Berlin is not in East Germany, firstly East Germany ceased to exist in 1989 when the wall came down, correct would be it is in North Eastern Germany, but the point I was trying to make is this ... You cannot call a video "The Northern Towns of Germany" if some of those towns shown are in the South. Part 1 and 2 are great compilations of indeed very beautiful medieval german towns (not cities). Great work, Lifestyle Hal. Awesome images and commentary. I live in Germany, but many of these places I have never visited, so I have some inspiration for my next holiday. And to all the know-it-alls here in the comment section: This collection is subjective, of course there are many other nice towns unmentioned here. If you feel, your favourite town is underrepresented, you are free to make your own video about it. Little technical issue: Just lower the music a bit during your commentary. Otherwise very well done: The beauty of mein Vaterland is more than sufficiently displayed.

Northern and Western towns were often bombed during the 2nd WW and then rebuilt in a very different style. Often 50 - 90% destroyed. Only some towns were spared. But even these are heavily modified. Görlitz is different. It was part of the GDR, never hit by any bomb and very poor for a pretty long time. There was no heavy modification here. If you compare it with Hannover, Magdeburg, Essen, Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Bochum, Mannheim, Köln, Kassel, Dresden and so on you will see the difference.

In Schwerin Castle is the parliament and a museum about the castle and not an art museum.

@@LifestyleHal There is an art Museum in front of the castle next to the theater. The castle itself of course also have paintings etc. But that not make it an art museum.

It’s completely fine to disagree - but il stick to my opinion that a museum that exhibits paintings, sculptures and crafts is Art - that’s in a museum 🤷🏾‍♂️

The both videos was intressed, but have Germany more interessed places. Look to Helgoland, Neuwerk, and the Halligen. Or to Dresden, Erzgebirge. This Land is to big. Nobody can show this land in two videos, like some other lands.

Let us send the dude to geography lesson, 😂Görlitz, Freiburg and Goslar has nothing to be at all on the list it is 100% ‼not Northern Germany but i miss Husum the grey city on the Northern Sea, or Schleswig the ancestry of the Romanov emperor of Russia for hundreds of years or Flensburg with his famous Mürwik Navy School and Gateway to Denmark instead of Wismar
