Swell podcast! A fly in the ointment, though: With all my respect to D.Crystal, I belong to the linguists who tend to differentiate between SLANG and JARGON (which is exactly the one making you feel the one of the gang). Slang is more common and comprehensible to ALL. IMHO) Thanks a bunch!

I’m a question, these slangs they’re exclusive from UK 🇬🇧 Or they’re from UK 🇬🇧 AND USA 🇺🇸 I need to know what kind of people I can use them In addition thanks for another podcast when I listen them I just feel like if I stay there with you and I love this 🙌🏻

Hi.I was so excited to listen to the talk about a slang. Useful things are everywhere in this video! I will definitely take notes every phrases you are introduce us. By the way,Ethan switched 'says' into 'said' immediately (around 8:15 ), which he would think that ' says' was grammatically incorrect. Thinking of the situation, however, I would feel like the guy, a fan of yours, would be there in real and I would happen to use ' says', as Ethan did. I think the present tense could fit into that situation in the communicative grammar point of view. (^_^)
